Revelation Chapter 1

Posted on September 1, 2014 by Missionaries For Jesus

Verse 1-3) THE REVELATION of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bear record of the word of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. God gave Jesus the revelation and Jesus sent his angel to give it to John. There is a blessing promised to all who read and hear these words.

Verse 4-6) John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the sevens spirits which are before his throne; and from Jesus Christ who is the faithful witness and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. And have made us kings and priests unto God and his father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. John is writing to the seven churches which were in Asia at that time. He was not writing too different church ages, as some people teach.

Verse 7,8) Behold he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega the beginning and the ending saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus ,which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:9-11). “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” (Matthew 24:30). When Jesus appears he will take all the saved to heaven, he will appear in the clouds.

Verse 9) I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom in patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. The Romans put John in a prison on an island called Patmos. They tried to kill him by putting him in a vat of boiling oil, but he would not boil. So they just put him in prison since they couldn’t kill him, they thought they could just keep him silenced and he couldn’t do much damage that way locked up in prison, but little did they know that Jesus was going to give him the book of Revelation which has gone on to witness to countless numbers of souls.

Verse 10,11) I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet. Saying, I am Alpha, and Omega, the first and the last: and what thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. These are specific churches which were in Asia at the time when John wrote to them which was around 90 A.D.

Verse 12-20) And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with the golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. This is Jesus Christ himself appearing to John and telling him to write down the things which he had seen, and the things which are, and the things that shall be in the future, in the book of Revelation. Revelation means to unvail or to reveal.

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

HANG ON TO JESUS

When things get tough, the tough get going, they get going to Jesus! Jesus never promised us a rose garden, in fact they gave him a crown of thorns,

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” (Luke 9:23-24). When the sea and the waves roar and you find that you just can’t walk on the water, in fact you are sinking, just cry out to Jesus and he will immediately stretch forth his hand and save you. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30). God will not ask you to go through something that is too hard for you, but he will give you the grace and the strength that you need when you need it, not before you need it, or after you need it, but when you need it. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13). “Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6b). It may seem like the whole world is going to pieces fast, and things will get worse and worse but Jesus is there and “he hath said I will never leave you or forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5b). In fact you can loose everything but you can’t loose Jesus. He will still be there for you. “for a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: (Proverbs 24:16a). That’s why being a Saved Christian Believer in Jesus Christ is so wonderful, because we know the sooner it gets worse, the sooner it will get better, because Jesus Christ is coming back to rescue us. So remember to hang on to Jesus because the Calvary is coming and it is being lead by Jesus Christ on a big white horse with his Armies from Heaven following him, and the blood of our enemies will flow up to the horses bridle.  “And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap; for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.”(Revelation 14:16). These verses are talking about the Rapture, when Jesus takes all the saved to Heaven, which takes place Immediately after the Great Tribulation and the mark of the beast. (SEE: Matthew 24:15-31)”And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, “ Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand six hundred furlongs.”(Revelation 14:17-20). These verses take us from the Rapture to the battle of Armageddon when the cup of iniquity of the unsaved is completely full. A furlong is 220 yards. Times 1,600 furlongs = 352,000 yards divided by 3 ft. in a yard = 117,333.33 ft. divided by 5,280 ft.(feet in a mile) = 22.222 miles. That is a lot of blood, over 22 miles of blood up to the horses bridles resulting from the Battle of Armageddon when Jesus takes over the world and destroys the armies of this world and the devil.”Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.” (Deuteronomy 13:4) “and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.” (Mark 12:30)

MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON THE WINNING SIDE.

PLEASE SAY THIS PRAYER TO BE SAVED:

Dear Jesus, I want to know you and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I believe you are the Only Begotten Son of God, and you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Savior. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Daniel 11 and 12

Verse 1) Also in the first year of Da-ri’-us the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him. This appears to be an Angel speaking. Possibly Gabriel who had given the prophecy of Daniel chapter 9 to Gods prophet Daniel. This prophecy was written in 536 B.C. This was the first year of King Darius of the Medes, who joined with the Persians, and became the Medo- Persian Empire.

Verse 2-4) And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Gre’- ci-a. And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled; for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those. The three kings in Persia were Cyrus, Cambyses, Darius, and the fourth was Xerxes, the richest and most powerful of the Persian kings. He invaded Greece but was defeated at Salamis. These prophecy’s were written over 200 years before there was a Greek Empire. The Greek Empire was founded in 331 B.C. By Alexander the Great. At his death the Greek Empire was divided up between his four main Generals. They ruled from Egypt, Assyria, Turkey, and Greece.”Not to his posterity’ refers to the fact that Alexander’s empire was not given to any of his relatives to take over, neither did he dictate who should rule after him.It has been said that Alexander the Great, when asked, Who should rule after him, he said; “Whoever is the strongest.”

Verse 5-20) And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion. And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times. But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail: And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north. So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land. But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress. And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand. And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches. And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand. But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed. He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him. After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him. Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found. Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle. These verses refer to the different kings and their different actions from the remains of Alexander’s empire until the anti-christ arises.

Verse 21) And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. The anit-christ is a vile person because he is possessed by the devil himself. The anti-christ will not be given the honour of the kingdom. Could this mean he will come to power by voter fraud, or by lies and false promises, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries?

Verse 22) And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the Covenant. The anti-christ will have great armies to take over those who oppose him and even the prince of the Covenant. This could be talking about the one who wrote the covenant that he confirmed in Daniel 9:27, which starts the last seven years.” With the arms of a flood”, sounds like great armies. “The sorrows of death compassed me,and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.” (Psalms 18:4).

Verse 23) And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully; for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. He works his way in with deceit through minority’s.

Verse 24) He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil , and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time. He will come in deceitfully even on the most wealthy country and countries, not like previous dictators who came in and took power by force. He shall use socialism and distribute the riches to the poor, and give out ultimatums for a time.

Verse 25) And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to do battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him. There will be nations that war against the anti-christ and his armies. These “devices” could be spiritual such as witchcraft, or electronic magnetic pulses (E.M.P’s) which will knock out electronics and computers, and cause cyber warfare, causing great confusion, and chaos, and collapse of whole nations and economies, and armies. The Great Confusion.

Verse 26) Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain. This could be referring to betrayals which will take place by nations who supported and helped him to power.

Verse 27) And both these kings hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed. This sounds like the United Nations, speaking lies that do not prosper at one table. This verse also shows us how that ultimately God is in control, and has an appointed time for the end.

Verse 28)Then shall he return into his own land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land. The anti-christ will do great exploits and conquer many, and in his heart he is against the covenant, because he wants to proclaim himself as God.

Verse 29-30) At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter. For the ships of Chit’-tim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant; so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that  forsake the holy covenant. The ships of Chit’-tim refers to Britain who will send their ships, and possibly air ships also against the anti-christ. He will conspire and have intelligence with them that are against the covenant and the Jewish daily sacrifices. Possibly the Muslims.

Verse 31) And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. The anti-christ will have the force of his armies on his side and he will make the Jews stop their daily sacrifices and he will place the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION. This event will start the last three and one half years,The Great Tribulation period. (See our class on Matthew 24).

Verse 32) And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits. He will lie and flatter and corrupt the people who are also against the covenant and the Jewish sacrifices in the Temple. The people who know Jesus will be doing mighty miracles and leading many to the Lord.

Verse 33) And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. For 1,260 days the Christians will be under heavy persecution while they witness to the world about what is going on.

Verse 34) Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. The Holy Spirit will help the saved through these times, and the Lord will raise up people to help us, and many will come to the saved believers for help, but be careful that they aren’t spy’s seeking a reward for turning you in.

Verse 35) And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed. Many believers will be killed, to try, and to purge, and to prepare us to meet the Lord.

Verse 36) And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3,4)

Verse 37) Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. He doesn’t regard any god but himself, nor have a desire for women, or care about their desires.

Verse 38,39) But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. The god of forces could be talking about nuclear power,” a god whom his fathers knew not” which he will heavily invest into and use.See our class on Revelation Chapters 8 & 9,which tells of the effects of nuclear warfare. “He shall divide the land for gain”, (spread the wealth around) to gain supporters.Sounds like Socialism  ?

Verse 40) And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. The anit-christ will be under many attacks.

Verse 41) He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even E’-dom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. The glorious land is Israel. These Arab countries and their leader will escape out of his hand. Possibly because of being on his side against the covenant and the Jewish daily sacrifice.

Verse 42-44) He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Lib’-yans and E-thi-o’-pi-ans shall be at his steps. But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. He will subdue Egypt and take power over their wealth. With great anger and fury will he go after all who oppose him. “Woe unto the inhablitors of the earth, and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth, that he hath but a short time.” ( Revelation 12:12b)

Verse 45) And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. He will place his palace between the Mediterranean Sea and the Dead Sea and sit in the Temple proclaiming himself god and no one will be able to help him when Jesus comes.

DANIEL CHAPTER 12

Verse 1) And at that time, shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book. Michael is one of God’s main Angels, or archangels, like a top General Angel in Jesus’s army of Angels. He will stand up, and come forth and fight for God’s people, leading a great army of Angels with him against the devil and his angels and demons in the end times. Jesus said; “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”( Matthew 24:15,21,29,30,31).You really need to study and have a good understanding of the Book of Revelation, and other related End Time Prophecy classes, and our class on Matthew Chapter 24, to understand the Book of Daniel. These classes can all be easily found in this web site under “Bible Prophecy”. “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.”(2 Timothy 3:13). World events will steadily get worse until the rapture of the saved, and then the seven vials of God’s wrath are poured upon the earth while the saved are in heaven at the marriage supper of the Lamb. All the saved will be delivered from the wrath of God,(BUT NOT THE GREAT TRIBULATION) and taken to Heaven. Everyone whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. The Lord keeps a record of everyone who has been saved, and a record of what we do in this life.“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” ( Revelation 12:7-12)

Verse 2) And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. The Bible says, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (I Thessalonians 4:16,17).“Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (II Corinthians 15:51,52). At the seventh trumpet the rapture takes place, and the dead saved are resurrected first, and the saved which are alive are taken up to heaven before the vials of the Wrath of God are poured out upon the earth. The Rapture will take place in the twinkling of and eye. Some will be happy to see Jesus, and some will be ashamed because they didn’t serve the Lord in their time here on earth.I think all Christians who have been alive at anytime at all, have done and said things they are ashamed of. But the good news is that the blood of Jesus Christ washes away all of our sins. All we have to do is ask Jesus to forgive us and he does, and our sins are washed away forever, by faith in his blood. So have communion often as Jesus commanded us to do.

Verse 3) And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth  souls is wise.” (Proverbs 11:30)  So if you want to shine like the stars then win souls for Jesus Christ !

Verse 4) But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. The Angel tells Daniel just to write the book and shut it up and seal it until the time of the end when many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Well, this is one reason that we know it is the time of the end, because the book of Daniel has now been opened and revealed to us. Behold before your eyes and in your hearing the scriptures are being fulfilled in www.answersintheword.com as the truth of the Book of Daniel is now opened unto you ! Many are running to and fro all over the world as world travel was virtually unheard of just 100 years ago, and knowledge has been greatly increased, from letter writing to Internet, and computers, not to mention advances in science and other technology. This is another amazing sign of the Time of the end.

Verse 5-7)Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. This is talking about the great tribulation. For 3 1/2 years, or time, times, and a half. When the anit-christ has scattered God’s people and it looks like the end for us, then Jesus comes to rescue the saved that are still alive on earth. A time is one year. Times is two years, and a half of a time is one half of a year, equaling three and a half years. This is explained in Revelations 12:6 &14.“And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.” 1,260 days is three and a half years in the Hebrew calendar of twelve 30 day months,or a time, times, and a half of a time.

Verse 8,9) And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Daniel did not understand, and he is told to go his way, and the words would be revealed at the time of the end, as they now are to you, as you study these classes.

Verse 10) Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. The wicked unsaved who reject Jesus and the truth of his Word will not understand these prophecies. Jesus said, “Blessed are those that do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6).“and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12)

Verse 11,12) And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up there shall be 1,290 days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. These are the only two verses in the Bible that give us a time frame for the two main events that happen after the rapture. These two events are, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and the Seven Vials of the Wrath of God, which are poured out upon the earth, while the saved are in Heaven. We know that there are 1,260 days in the Great Tribulation, from the time that the Abomination Of Desolation is placed in the Temple, until the Rapture. 1,290 days are 30 days more past 1,260 days. Then it says, ” Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.” (Daniel 12:12).  1,335 days minus 1,260 days equals 75 total days for these two events, the Rapture and the Seven Vials of the Wrath of God ! Why are they blessed that wait and come to the end of these 75 days?  Because that is when the Millennium begins, and the 1,000 year reign of Jesus Christ on the earth ! So this gives us a time period, of a total of 75 days past the rapture. During this 75 day period the Marriage Supper of the Lamb will occur, and also the Seven Vials of the Wrath of God will be poured out upon the earth, ending with the Seventh Vial which is the battle of Armageddon. Maybe the first 30 day period mentioned in verse 11 will be for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and the next 45 days may be for the Vials of Wrath to be poured out. We don’t know why the Lord broke up these time periods into 30 days and 45 days for a total of 75 days, but we will soon someday find out. This seems to be the best explanation for the 30 and 45 days so far.

Verse 13) But go thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. Even though Daniel could not understand all these prophecies because they were not for his day. He is told to just rest and don’t worry about it, because he will get his reward at the end of days.

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

REMEMBER THE GOOD THINGS

Thank God for the Good.being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”(Philippians 1:6). “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.”(Isaiah 43:18). “It is not nice to remind people of their past mistakes and sins, especially when the Lord has forgiven them.” ( Lilly said this). (Romans 8:28) says; “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” The devils job is to condemn you and discourage you and to try and keep you from having a relationship with Jesus and winning souls for the Kingdom of God. “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.”(Hebrew 8:12). “As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”(Psalm 103:12).

“He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.”(Micah 7:19). In Heaven they only remember and think about the good things. Why not have a little heaven right now while you are alive on the earth? Forgive and forget as you want Jesus to do that for you. Life is too short to let the devil win. “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” (Philippians 4:11). “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”( Philippians 3:13-14). “And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”(Matthew 18:2-3). “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”(John 3:3). “being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”(1Peter 1:23). It is a commandment from the Lord to forgive and forget and move forward, for the future is as bright as the promises of God. “whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,”(2 Peter 1: 4a).

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”(1 Corinthians 2:9). When the devil reminds you of your past sins just say, “ Thank you Jesus for your precious blood and forgiveness that washed that away.” The devil hates to hear about the Name of Jesus and his Blood, and he will flee from you. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”(James 4:7-10). It is very serious in the eyes of the Lord to doubt what Jesus has done for you on the Cross! So don’t listen to the devil and his demons. “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”(Philippians 4:8).

Dear Jesus, I want to know you and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. THE EYES OF THE LORD

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.”(2 Chronicles 16:9a). “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”(Proverbs 15:3). “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”(John 4:23-24). “The Lord is always looking for people who want to worship and pray to him in Spirit. “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.”(1Peter 3:12). “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”(Psalm 32:8). “The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.”(Psalm 34:15). “Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;”(Psalm 33:18). “Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?”(Job 31:4). “O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men. For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”(Psalm 139:1-24). “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”(Jeremiah 1:5). God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit know every ones thoughts even all the people in Heaven and in Hell. They are Omnipotent, (This means they have unlimited power:) Omnipresent, (Which means they are present anywhere and everywhere at the same time.), and Omniscient, (This means they know everything: including past, present and future, except what they choose to forgive and forget). “and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.” (Hebrews 10:17). This happens when you ask Jesus Christ into your heart and believe by faith that his blood cleanses us from All Our Sins. “but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”(1 John 1:7).Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.”(Psalm 116:15).

DOES THE LORD TEST OUR FAITH AND LOVE FOR HIM?

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. but let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” (James 1: 2-4). “And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD shall be seen. And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time. And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD or because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beer-sheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beer-sheba.” (Genesis 22:1-19).God was so pleased with Abraham’s faith and Love for the Him, that he blessed the whole World by bringing forth Jesus Christ from Abraham’s seed. (Matthew 1:1-17). “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.”(2 Chronicles 16:9a). Why does the Lord test our Love and faith? Because he wants to know how deep our love is for him and our faith in his promises in his Word. Don’t you want to know how deep certain people’s love is for you? “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”(Hebrews 11:6). We can’t do anything without Jesus and his help.“ I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. ”(John 15:5). “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”(Philippians 4:13). “We love him, because he first loved us.”(1 John 4:19). Maybe if Peter had said, “Lord by your help and grace, and strength, I will lay down my life for you.” Then he may not have had to go through those hard times and breakings to make him the leader the Lord wanted him to be. The Lord had this important lesson to teach him and humble him. Sometimes I can’t understand how God could have so much love to give his only begotten son to die for a guy like me. Maybe you feel this way too, but he did. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”(John 3:16).

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. STAND UP FOR THE TRUTH

Many times when your trying to witness to someone and lead them to Jesus, they will come up with these lies from the devil and say to you “ How can you believe in the Bible? It has been changed so many times.” What would you say to them? “but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:”(1 Peter 3:15). You have got to dispel the vaporous venom and fairy tell lies from the devil, and give them the truth. Just tell them the Bible was originally written in Hebrew which is called the Old Testament and the New Testament was originally written in Greek. The Old Testament was translated from Hebrew into Greek in 250 BC under the reign of King Philadelphus of Greece. This was called the Septuagint, this is an established Historical fact taught in Colleges and Universities around the World. The New Testament was translated into English in 1611 AD under the reign of King James of England. This was a time when heretics where burned at the stake. It took seventy Scholars ten years to accomplish this mission and they were very care full not to make any mistakes as they feared for their lives. The Old Testament was found written down on scrolls, when they where discovered in 1947 and called the Dead Sea Scrolls. They are said to be supernaturally identical to The King James Bible. All the Old Testament Books were found except the Book of Esther. So you see the Bible hasn’t been changed from it’s original translations.

Here is some basic Bible knowledge for you. There are 66 books in the Bible. 39 Books in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. It was written by 40 different Prophets and men of God over a 1500 year period as the Holy Ghost spoke through them. The sixty-six books that make up the Bible were written over a span of approximately 1,500 years. This does not mean it took 1,500 solid years of writing to complete the Bible. Rather, it took this long for the entirety of the canon of Scripture to be completed, as God revealed His Word to people in His own timing. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”(2 Timothy 3:16). This is proven by all the many fulfilled prophecies in the Bible. Peter who lived with Jesus and followed him and saw all his miracles said There was a more sure way to believe from the fulfilled prophecies. “For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.”(2 Peter 1:17-20 ). The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. Just be sure you use the original anointed , inspired Authorized King James Version, because some of these newer versions have out right lies and watered down changes. See our class on “ Why We Use The Authorized King James Bible” in www.answersintheword.com

THE PIT OR YOUR CALLING

Yesterday I saw with my own eyes the actual visual fulfillment of this verse in Psalms 40:2 which says; “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”Our Son James was digging a deep pond with his new Excavator. As he was digging deeper and deeper into the pit, I was concerned that I was getting ready to see the fulfillment of another verse which is; “Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein:” (Proverbs 26:27a). He was literally rocking back and forth, and getting deeper and deeper in the mud. After desperate prayer the Lord sent Richard by with some long boards which he used to make a ramp and get out. I thought surely there must be some sort of lessons here for us all. The first thing that comes to me is when there is special work to be done we should get the experts to do it, and concentrate on doing what we do best especially if there is possible danger involved. “Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.” (1 Corinthians 7: 20). James is defiantly anointed to be a Sales Man and to make money and called to Preach the Gospel, as he commented on “Many Are Called but few are Chosen.” and he said “I choose to be chosen.” Here are some words of wisdom: “Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:” (Acts 6:2-5). In other words maybe he should be working with his clients and making money for his family and to pay his workers so he can concentrate on what is most important, and what he does best and is safest. “Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone. Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God: and thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do. Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens: and let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee. If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace. So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said. And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.” (Exodus 18:18-25). Moses was trying to take care of all the problems great and small of the Children of Israel by himself until the Lord sent Jethro his Father-in-law with some good Godly Advise that probably saved his life and sanity. A good leader will never do something that he can get someone else to do, so he can do what he is suppose to be doing. I know it was fun operating the new equipment, but now hopefully the fun part is over, and the Lord delivered you out of the horrible pit and the miry clay. Remember Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30). So if your burden is not easy and light and you don’t have rest and peace, then maybe you have taken on to much that is not of the Lord and you need to delegate the responsibilities so you can go on to greater victories. I’m sure this message is for all of us.

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

THE GATES OF HELL

I believe that the Lord won’t be totally happy and satisfied until all of his creation is restored and living as he wants it to be and originally intended to be even before the devil sinned and rebelled against God. “by which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;” (1Peter 3:19). “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9). God is not slack even if it takes thousands of years for some to be in Hell. And some might have to be destroyed as if they never existed. “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28). “But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;” (2 Peter 2:12). I don’t think I would be happy in Heaven for a long time knowing that Jesus wasn’t totally happy and he wanted to invade Hell with his followers to give them another and another chance. The picture Jesus described to us is found in (Matthew 16:18b) “and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Jesus took his disciples to Caesarea Philippi. This was a place where the Jews did not like to go. It was called the Gates of Hell because there were a lot of ungodly Temples there such as a Temple to the God Pan a Greek God of sexual perversions, who was half goat and half man, and there were other Greek and Roman Temples to their other Gods. This is the place where Jesus asked his disciples who they said he was, and Peter said , You are the Christ, The Messiah, The Son of The Living God. Jesus said that upon what Peter replied was the Rock that Jesus would build his Church upon and that The Gates of Hell shall not prevail against his ATTACKING CHURCH. This is not a picture of his Church hiding behind and inside of some buildings. “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” ( Luke 9:23-24). When we get to Heaven there will be a lot of JOY unspeakable and full of GLORY, but the work has just begun with a new body that never gets tired, sick, or dies. We won’t be just floating around on a cloud strumming a Harp all day. There will be exciting missions to go on, and a lot of witnessing to the people who died without ever having a chance to have a true Christian witness and have the opportunity to be saved. Let’s start reaching the un-reached now instead of just preaching to the Choir! Why should anyone hear the Gospel twice when some have never heard it once.

COME ON AND JOIN THE BATTLE IT IS NOW RAGEING !! TAKE UP YOUR CROSS AND FOLLOW JESUS !!

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. THE TRUTH

Are you one of those who are searching for the truth? The Bible says, “ And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29: 13). “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”(John 14:6). Jesus is the Word. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”(John 1:1-5). “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”(John 1:14). “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;”(Revelation 3:14). Jesus was created by God first before anything. “giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.” (Colossians 1:12-20). “Pilate saith unto him, WHAT IS TRUTH? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.” (John18:38). Even Pilate who ordered Jesus Christ to be Crucified, seemed like he was looking for the truth a little bit. When he asked Jesus this question. Some people look for the truth a little bit, and some people make it the main thing in their lives. How about you? Do you want the whole truth? Finding Jesus and accepting him as your Saviour in your heart is the most important and first step. “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”(Matthew 7:13-15). Some people don’t even want the truth at all, they prefer to live in darkness. “and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. “(2 Thessalonians 2:10-12). The Bible is like a great puzzle that must be carefully put together. The Devil has got a whole world out there full of lies, half truths and deceptions. “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.”(1John 5:19). It is comforting to know that the Lord has not left us in darkness, but has given us his Truth and his Word about every major subject that you need and even more to make it through this life. Such as Salvation, Eternal Salvation (meaning you can’t loose it), the Holy Spirit, Living for Jesus, Faith and Healing, Bible Knowledge, Bible Prophecy and more. You can find all this all put together to make it easy to understand, in his web site: www.answersintheword.com . WE LOVE YOU !

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.
