DANIEL CHAPTER 12

Verse 1) And at that time, shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found a written in the book. Michael, one of God’s main Angels, or archangels. He will stand up, and come forth and fight for God’s people against the devil and his angels and demons in the end times. Jesus said the great tribulation would began when you see the abomination of desolation stand in the temple. Then would begin a time of trouble known as the great tribulation such as was not since the beginning of the world( Matthew 24:15,21,29), and it will steadily get worse until the rapture of the saved and then the the seven vials of God’s wrath are poured upon the earth while the saved are in heaven at the marriage supper of the Lamb. All the saved will be delivered from the wrath of God,(BUT NOT THE GREAT TRIBULATION) and taken to Heaven. Everyone whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Yes, the Lord keeps a record of everyone who has been saved, and a record of what we do in this life.

Verse 2) And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. The Bible says, For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. ( I Thessalonians 4:16,17). Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. ( II Corinthians 15:51,52). At the seventh trumpet the rapture takes place, and the dead saved are resurrected first and the saved which are alive are taken up to heaven before the vials of the Wrath of God are poured out upon the earth. This will all take place in the twinkling of and eye. Some will be happy to see Jesus, and some will be ashamed because they didn’t serve the Lord in their time here on earth.

Verse 3) And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they did turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Proverbs 11:30 says The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that when of souls is wise. So if you want to shine like the stars then win souls for Jesus.

Verse 4) But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. The Angel tells Daniel just to write the book and shut it up and seal it until the time of the end when many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Well, this is one reason that we know it is the time of the end, because the book of Daniel has now been opened and revealed to us. Many are running to and fro all over the world as world travel was virtually unheard of just 100 years ago, and knowledge has been greatly increased, from letter writing to Internet, and computers, not to mention advances in science and other technology. This is another amazing sign of the Time of the end.

Verse 5-7) Then I Daniel looked and behold There stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. And one said to the man clothed in linen which was upon the waters of the river, how long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen which was upon the waters of the river when he held up his right hand in his left hand and to heaven and swear by him that live with for ever that it should be for a time, times, and in half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people all these things shall be finished. This is talking about the great tribulation. For 3 1/2 years, or time, times, and a half. When the anit-christ has scattered God’s people and it looks like the end for us, then Jesus comes to rescue the saved that are still alive on earth.

Verse 8,9) And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Daniel did not understand, and he is told to go his way, and the words would be revealed at the time of the end, as they now are to you, as you study these classes.

Verse 10) Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; that the wise shall understand. The wicked unsaved who reject Jesus and the truth of his Word will not understand these prophecies. Jesus said, Blessed are those that do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. (Matthew 5:6 )

Verse 11,12) And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up there shall be 1,290 days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. These are the only two verses in the Bible that give us a time frame for the two main events that happen after the rapture. These two events are, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and the Seven Vials of the Wrath of God, which are poured out upon the earth, while the saved are in Heaven. We know that there are 1,260 days in the Great Tribulation, from the time that the Abomination Of Desolation is placed in the Temple, until the Rapture. 1,290 days are 30 days more past 1,260 days. Then it says Blessed is he that waits and comes to 1,335 days. Why are they blessed, because that is when the millennium begins, or the 1,000 year reign of Christ on the earth. So this gives us a time, of a total of 75 days past the rapture. During this 75 day period the Marriage Supper of the Lamb will occur, and also the Seven Vials of the Wrath of God will be poured out upon the earth, ending with the Seventh Vial which is the battle of Armageddon. Maybe the first 30 day period mentioned in verse 11 will be for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and the next 45 days may be for the Vials of Wrath to be poured out. We don’t know why the Lord broke up these time periods into 30 days and 45 days for a total of 75 days, but we will soon someday find out.

Verse 13) But go thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. Even though Daniel could not understand all these prophecies because they were not for his day. He is told to just rest and don’t worry about it, because he will get his reward at the end of days.

Revelation Chapter 10

Verse 1-3) AND I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. This was quite a sight to hear and behold. It could have been Gabriel or Michael the Arc Angels. We don’t know for sure, but it was a mighty angel, so this message must be very important.

Verse 4) And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. We don’t know what the seven thunders said, because a voice from heaven told John not to write what they said. Perhaps this is symbolic of why God’s word is written like a mystery or like a puzzle that we must seek and search out and put it together to see the full beautiful picture. God wants to see who is hungry and thirsty for his spiritual truths. Like Jesus said “blessed are they that hunger and thirst , for they shall be filled.” Do you hunger and thirst after God’s truth in his Word? Are you desperately trying to put the pieces of God’s puzzle together?

Verse 5,6) And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things which are therein, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: The angel is talking about time which shall be no more for all the saved, because they will be living in the spirit world with God where time does not exists. There is only an eternal now in God’s Spirit world.

Verse 7) But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. This verse is talking about the seventh trumpet. We have already covered six trumpets of tribulation. The seventh trumpet is the Rapture, when Jesus takes all the saved to Heaven. The mystery of God is found in (I Corinthians 15:51,52) which says “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” The seventh trumpet is also found mentioned in (I Thessalonians 4:16,17)“ For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the arcangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

Verse 8-11) And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. There are other verses where God told his Prophets to eat the Word. “ MOREOVER HE said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel. So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.” ( Ezekiel 3: 1-3). “ Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.” ( Jeremiah 15:16). Eating the Word is like really studying it and understanding it. It’s like honey it’s nourishing to us, but it can cause our belly to be bitter. This happens because of persecution when we preach the truth, as “all who will live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” ( II Timothy 3:12). We are accountable to tell others the truth that God has revealed to us.
