THE SECRET OF LOVE REVEALED

“God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24 ) God is the invisible spirit of love that created everything out of nothing. “No man has seen God at any time.” (1John 4: 12a). No man could survive seeing God and standing in his presence in the flesh. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.”(John 14:6). “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” ( Acts 4:12). Love is what everybody wants, and is looking for, and can never get enough of. God made us insatiable,or unsatisfiable that way.“As the heart panteth after the waterbrooks, so panteth my soul after thee o God.” ( Psalm 42:1). Does your heart thirst after God as a thirsty deer who has been running through the woods thirsts after a cold drink of water from the brooks and streams? ” God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” (I John 4:16b). So if you want more love and more of the life of God, get more into Jesus, and his Word. Jesus is the Word of God. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14). Jesus and his Word are the secret to love, strength, life, happiness,  power, joy, faith, and peace. “Whom having not seen, ye love: in whom though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.”(1 Peter 1 :8). ” lt is he that sitteth on the circle of the earth and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:” ( Isaiah 40:22). This verse tells us that the earth is a circle. It was written over 2000 years before Columbus discovered that the earth wasn’t flat, but a circle. Can you imagine being taught all your life that the world was flat, as everyone believed at that time, and if you went to far you would fall off the earth into oblivion? One day Christopher Columbus read this verse, and legend has it that this scripture in Isaiah gave him the courage and faith he needed to launch out on his epic voyage to discover the new world, and bring the Gospel to the Americas in 1492 A.D. Lord may we have that same adventuresome spirit that drives us to seek after you and your love as the early explorers who sought out strange new worlds to explore..

Say this prayer if you want  to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I  believed you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

THE HEAVENLY VISION

The Bible tells us to stay true to the heavenly vision, but what does that mean? Well, God’s Word tells us, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” (Proverbs 29:18 a).You have to have a vision, a reason for living, a goal, something to strive for. Otherwise without a vision you are just like an astronaut who’s tether line has broken and he is adrift in space aimlessly floating into oblivion. You have got to find that certain something that motivates you and gets you going and out of bed and on track. For some people it is money and the pursuit of material gain. The Constitution talks about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and it guarantees us of that right, but it doesn’t guarantee you will find it.”Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”(Matthew 22:37-39). Beloved any thing that you are pursuing besides this great commandment is just a waste of time and energy and will come to naught. Jesus told us ,”Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:” (Matthew 6:19,20). All the things of this life will surely pass and only what is done for Christ shall last.”the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.”(Matthew 13:45,46 ). Have you found that goodly pearl yet? Have you sold all you have to buy it? If you have, you have made a very wise choice, and investment. “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,  I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”(Philippians 3:13,14). Have you found the high calling of God in Christ Jesus for your life? He is no fool, who gives what he can not keep, to gain what he can not loose.

Amen.

REDEEMING THE TIME

Only one life ( in this body), ‘Twill soon be past. Only what’s done for Christ will last. Watch out for the quicksand time wasting traps from the devil. One of the enemies wiles is to wait awhile. “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is yet day; the night cometh, when no man can work.” (JOHN 9:4.) “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”(EPHESIANS 5:15,16). “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”(PSALMS 90:12). “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep; and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”(ECCLESIASTES 3:1-8). If the devil can’t stop you he will try and delay you. Alexander The Great was asked how he conquered the world so fast; his reply was “by not delaying”. Each morning puts a man on trial, each evening passes judgment. The past cannot be changed, but the future is in your power. The clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop. At late or early hour now is the only time you own. Live, love, toil with a will. Place no faith in time, for the clock may soon be still. When we work, work like mad, when we play, play like mad and don’t mix the two. If we are doing anything but putting God first and saving souls… we are wasting time. This is your time, your brief chance to make a difference to reach as many of your generation as possible. Do what you can with what you got. “whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” (James 4:14). As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.”For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children; to such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.”(Psalm 103:15-18). If we only realized how short our time is and how much depends on what we do with it.

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

WE NEED THE LORD !

“But the path of the just is as the shinning light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. “ ( Proverbs 4: 18). Beloved the future of this world does not look very bright and promising, but for the believer it’s going to get better and better, because we are getting closer to the time when Jesus comes back to rule the world in peace, and love, with no more war, and no more devil, and his demons around for 1,000 years. (See our class on Revelations 21). ” The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” ( II Peter 3:9).” we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.” ( Acts 14: 22b). Trials, troubles, suffering, and adversity can bring out the best in a Christian, because it drives us closer to the Lord.” And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.” ( Daniel 11: 35). So the sooner it gets worse in this world, the sooner it will get better for the believer.  Why do you think God made Adam and Eve with a free will, knowing the future, and what they would do, and all of us ever since? God knew we all would sin and come short of his Glory. ( Romans 3:23). The Lord wanted us to learn that we needed him, and his love and that we can’t make it without him.“I am the vine ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”(John 15:5).” Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” ( Zechariah 4:6b). ” Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.” (Psalm 105:4). “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13

Amen.

BE CLEAN

“Now ye are clean through the words that I have Spoken unto you.” (John 15:3 ). Jesus wants our spirits to be clean, clean from sin, and clean from false doctrines, and clean from every evil work, King David prayed,“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence;and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” (Psalm 51:10-12 ).It feels so good to be clean and right with God. It’s kind of like taking a shower after you have been out working all day in the yard and you’ve gotten all dirty and sweaty, and you come in and take a nice cool refreshing shower. It’s kind of like doing the dishes, they get dirty every day and need to be cleaned and washed and ready for the masters use in the near future. That is why so many people are walking around all discouraged and unhappy, because they are not clean. They are covered with the filth and dirt of this world, and need to get clean. “Blessed is he whose  transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. When I kept silence,my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me:my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid.I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord;and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found:surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.Thou art my hiding place;thou shalt preserve me from trouble;thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.”(Psalm 32: 1-7).So if you want to be a vessel fit for the Masters use then get clean. How do we do that ? By getting into the Word and through prayer and asking the Lord to forgive us of your daily sins and shortcomings, and give you a clean slate and heart with him. After all, that is what matters most is your relationship with Jesus. The devil and his demons are always going to try and condemn you but the Bible says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1). You see, that is the beauty of living in the Spirit and in Heaven, your past sins and mistakes are washed away and are remembered no more by God or others who walk in his Spirit.”and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. “(Hebrews 10:17). In fact God says, “He will turn again,he will have compassion upon us;he will subdue our iniquities;and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea”(Micah 7:19).” but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (1John 1:7).So get clean daily,by the Blood of Jesus and have Communion often like Jesus told us to do. In fact it is the only ceremony that he commanded us to keep.
Amen.

BE PERFECT

Jesus  said,“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect.”(Matthew 5:48). “And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.”(John 8:29 ). Perfection is something that we need to strive for. We can only be perfect in the eyes of God, by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ his Son. (I John 1:7). Being perfect in the flesh is another story. Jesus said, “It is the spirit that quickeneth;  the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”(John 6:63).“If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.” (Job 9:20). We just never will be perfect in the flesh, but Jesus said for us to strive for that, as God is perfect in Heaven. The Heavenly City is perfect. There are no mistakes in it’s construction. There is not even any dust to have to sweep up.“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” (James 1:4). Now here is an interesting concept. It actually says if we want to be perfect, that we should want nothing. WOW what a state of blissful mind to be in. Here is something we can try and strive for. It seems like we are always wanting something, but the Bible says that the perfect work of patience is to want nothing, and then we will be perfect and entire. I wonder what that would be like? We might like it if we try it. “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I WILL NEVER LEAVE THEE, NOR FORSAKE THEE.” (Hebrews 13:5). You mean we can just be content with just having Jesus in our hearts? Yes. Praise the Lord ! So don’t let things worry you so much. Most of the things I have worried about never came to pass any way. And if you worry about something to much, it is a lack of faith and you can bring it to pass.“For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.” (Job 3:25). “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” ( I John 4:18). “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.” (I Timothy 6:7,8). “And above all these things put on charity (LOVE), which is the bond of perfectness.” (Colossians 3:14). “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.” (Psalm 37:37).

Amen.

NO PEACE WITHOUT THE PRINCE OF PEACE

There will never be peace in this world without Jesus Christ. There have always been wars, ever since enough people were around to fight, and kill each other, all the way back to Cain, when he killed his brother Able. Can you imagine how God must feel to watch his children that he created kill each other? What if your children started doing that? Things got so bad that God was sorry that he even made man.  “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.”(Genesis 6:5,6). Note: Genesis 6:6 , and God made man on the sixth day, so there we have  6,6,6, man’s number, and the mark of the beast. Finally God caused a great flood to destroy man off of the face of the earth. Thank God Noah found grace in God’s eyes, and the Lord spared him and his family in the Ark, or we would not be here today. (Genesis 6:8) .Someday everyone will be forced to submit to Jesus Christ and his rule and reign. He will rule the world with a strong control. The Bible says he will rule with a rod of iron. This is referring to strong dictatorship control to keep man from repeating history. “And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.” (Revelation 2:27). “And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.” (Matthew 21:44). It is much better to fall on Jesus Christ and submit to our makers God, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We cannot have peace and joy and happiness in our hearts unless we are right with the Lord, and we cannot be right with the Lord unless we ask for his forgiveness, and don’t harbor evil , or evil thoughts in our hearts. “This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.” (James 3: 15-18).

Amen.

TO JUDGE OR NOT TO JUDGE (video & text)

Jesus said;  “JUDGE NOT, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” (Matthew 7:1,2).

We are supposed to rightly divide the word of truth. “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (II Timothy 2: 15). So let’s take a look at what else the Bible has to say about this subject.”But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.”(1 Corinthians 2: 15). “The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.” (Psalm 37:30). So if you feel that you are righteous ,and spiritual enough then go ahead and judge. You are righteous, but only by the blood of Jesus. We are faced with choices and decisions every day that we have to make a judgment on. Especially if you are a parent. “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.” (1 Corinthians 11:31). “He hath shown thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” (Micah 6:8). “Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou’ see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” ( Matthew 7:4, 5). “I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.” (Ecclesiastes 3: 17,18). Fact is, we’ve all sinned and come short of the glory of God, and we all deserve to go to prison and deserve hell, but, “It is of the  Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.”  (Lamentations 3:22). Personally I’m going to stick with Matthew 7:1,2 as much as possible in my life. There is a freedom in that decision. How about you?

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

ARE YOU IN THE LORD’S ARMY ?

God wants volunteers not draftees in his end time Special Forces Army. They that take up the Cross shall wear the Crown! The Lord requires more of you who are in his inner circle than of the other 70 and of those who follow him afar off. Like he did with his 12 disciples who became powerful Leaders and teachers and were mightily used of the Lord after years of training and breakings and testing and learning lessons. “There is no discharge in that war.” (Ecclesiastes 8:8). Perhaps some furloughs or time to pray and rest, but don’t go a.w.o.l. ( away with out leave). You are in too deep, you know too much. You are highly accountable for all the truth that you have been given, or all you could have learned. Do you sometimes get rebuked by your Elders in the Lord? It is better than getting rebuked by the Lord. I would rather have a pack of hounds after me than the hound of Heaven. “When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.”  (Psalm 32:3,4 ).  And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:  for whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.  If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?  But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.  Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?  For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.  Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.  Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;  and make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. “(Hebrews 12:5-12). We need to pray and ask the Lord to show us how deep is our love for him ? “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. “(Hebrews 13:17). If you get rebuked and blasted, you can take it one of two ways. You can either humbly take it and submitt and get blessed and learn and grow, or you can get offended and stomp off in your pride. “Great peace have they that love thy law and nothing shall offend them.” (Psalm 119:165).You can realize that you must have deserved it, and take the correction, and just think of all the times you deserved it and didn’t get the correction for things that you have said and done. Just take it and grow spiritually. GOD WANTS TO MAKE A LEADER OUT OF YOU ! All leaders go through the school of hard knocks and breakings. It’s just up to you how long you have to stay in school, but don’t leave school until the bell rings. Are you going to dive into Gods Word and will or just sit on the side and maybe touch your toe in the water? You are not your own you are bought with a price by the precious blood of Jesus Christ . He gave his all for you. For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.” (1 Peter 2:20). When gold is dug out of the earth they melt it down with a hot fire and all the dross and impurities come to the top and are scraped off and only the pure gold remains. So it is with us. We are in Gods refining process. “Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.” (Luke 20:18). Jesus is the stone, fall on him. “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite (crushed) spirit.”(Psalms 34:18).

Amen.

WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR STAKE ?

Once upon a time there was a young boy who was given a young pet eagle. He wanted to keep the Eagle as a pet, so he decided to pound a big stake into the ground and put a chain on his pet eagles leg, and chain him up to the stake so he wouldn’t t fly away. Well as time went by the young boy grew up and so did his chained pet eagle, who would walk constantly around in a circle, around the stake he was chained too. One day the man saw his chained eagle pet walking constantly around in a circle around that stake, and he felt sorry for him, because he wasn’t able to fly and be free like all the other birds flying around over him, so he went and took the chain off of the chained eagles leg. The eagle was so surprised that he was finally free that he took off and flew around. After a short while the eagle flew back and began walking around in a circle again around the big stake, even though he was no longer chained. Isn’t that the way most of us are? The Lord sets us free from our chains and stake and we are so glad that we fly off and try our wings and enjoy our new found freedom, and then we come back to our old ways and habits and continue on in the same circle. Lord help us to follow you Jesus and break free of our old ways and habits that are not good for us, and fly like the eagles.Amen?but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 49:31). Is Jesus trying to set you free? Are you going to be like that eagle who came back and kept walking around that stake after Jesus has set you free? What is the name, or names of your stake? “Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.”(John 8:32). “Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house forever: but the Son abideth forever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” ( John 8:34-36).

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.
