ONE SOLITARY LIFE

He was born in an obscure village
The child of a peasant woman
He grew up in another obscure village
Where he worked in a carpenter shop
Until he was thirty when public opinion turned against him

He never wrote a book
He never held an office
He never went to college
He never visited a big city
He never travelled more than two hundred miles
From the place where he was born
He did none of the things
Usually associated with greatness
He had no credentials but himself

He was only thirty three

His friends ran away
One of them denied him
He was turned over to his enemies
And went through the mockery of a trial
He was nailed to a cross between two thieves
While dying, his executioners gambled for his clothing
The only property he had on earth

When he was dead
He was laid in a borrowed grave
Through the pity of a friend

Nineteen centuries have come and gone
And today Jesus is the central figure of the human race
And the leader of mankind’s progress
All the armies that have ever marched
All the navies that have ever sailed
All the parliaments that have ever sat
All the kings that ever reigned put together
Have not affected the life of mankind on earth
As powerfully as that one solitary life

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

THERE IS NOTHING MORE WONDERFUL (video & text)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=435z-NhZvUQ&feature=youtu.be

There is nothing more wonderful and important than having a relationship with Jesus, because when you have a relationship with Jesus then you also have a relationship with God and The Holy Spirit. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”(John 14:6). The devil hates for God’s children to be walking with the Lord and be in a close relationship with Jesus, because you might do some witnessing and save some souls from his evil dark kingdom. “Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matthew 7:21-23). What does it mean to know Jesus? Let’s look at this verse. It sounds like its pretty important doesn’t it? The Bible says in Genesis Chapter 4, that Adam knew Eve his wife and she conceived and had a son named Cain. Jesus is talking about spiritually really knowing him and having him close in your heart, and bringing forth fruit unto God, which means leading people to Jesus, and winning souls. “Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man will hear my voice and open the door I will come in to him.”(Revelations 3:20). It means to be close to the one who loves you, and created you, and died for you. Then you will bring forth fruit unto God, saved souls that you will actually see in Heaven Forever. “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”(John 15:8)

Amen.

VICTORY OVER RESENTMENT AND VENGEANCE

A little bit of kindness can go a long long way. A little bit of love can help one through the day.“And be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”(Ephesians 4:32).
“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written,VENGEANCE IS MINE; I WILL REPAY, saith the Lord. THEREFORE IF THINE ENEMY HUNGER, FEED HIM; IF HE THIRST, GIVE HIM DRINK: FOR IN SO DOING THOU SHALT HEAP COALS OF FIRE ON HIS HEAD.Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”( Romans 12:19-21).In other words keep your wrath and anger in the right place, which is in the Lord’s hands, and don’t let the devil cause you to sin by saying and doing things which are not of the Lord, but what the devil wants you to say and do.“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:44-48).“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God: lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;”(Hebrews 12:14,15).”BE YE ANGRY, AND SIN NOT: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.”( Ephesians 4:26,27) We all make mistakes and sin. We all need forgivness from the Lord and others. He drew a circle that shut me out , but I drew a circle that brought him in.“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”(Acts 10:38). When Peter cut off the ear of the soldier, Jesus put the soldiers ear back on,and healed him, and told Peter “Put away your sword.”(John 18: 10,11) and(Luke 22:49-51).“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”( Matthew 5:9).“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.” (Galatians 5:25,26).Hate and bitterness will choke you out spiritually and even effect you physically, and all those around you it is like a highly contagious sickness. The only way out of this devils trap is desperate prayer and getting into the Word. If you believe (Lamentations  3:22-23) which says,It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”  Then it becomes very difficult to wish for Vengeance on others when we reilize that we are just as bad if not worse than the people that we seek Vengeance upon. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;  and make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:  looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;” (Hebrews 12:15). “For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.”(1Peter 2:20). How would you explain this verse to someone, and do you really understand what this verse means? Holding onto bitterness is making an open door for the devil to come in with his hordes of demons who will try and destroy you and those you come in contact with. The way to check our spiritual temperature is by asking ourselves, am I becoming more like Jesus?

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

What Is God Like ?

What is God like? Some people picture Him as an angry God-an all seeing eye, who carries a big lighting bolt around, ready to zap them!- Or a cruel tyrant, some kind of a monster, Who is trying to frighten everyone into Hell! But actually, He is Love! He’s a loving God who is trying to love everyone into Heaven! He’s so close, so personal, so loving, so kind, so tender, so gentle, so concerned, so understanding, and He’s waiting with open arms. The only reason He follows us around is that He is hoping we’ll turn around and meet Him with open arms! He never stops loving us no matter what we do. He never rejects us or withdraws His Love. He always has hope for us no matter how far we’ve strayed. If you have children they will help you to understand this. So if you feel far from God, maybe it’s because you haven’t opened your heart to receive His Love and forgiveness! You need not continue to feel condemned for your mistakes and sins, only be sorry, ask for God’s forgiveness, and be forgiven! “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.” ( Psalm 103:8-14).“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be like wool”(Isaiah 1:18). “the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin”. ( 1 John 1:7b). If you’ll even start God’s way, if you’ll just turn toward Him and start trying to find your way Home, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, will come running toward you and receive you with open arms of love! ” I will arise and go to my Father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassionand ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.” (Luke 15:18-20). So what is God like? Jesus is the ultimate manifestation of what God is like! Read the Gospels. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?”( John 14:9) I and my Father are one.” ( John 10:30). ” for God is Love.” (1 John 4:8b)

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

Something To Smile About (video & text)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJGpSjgY-Pc&feature=youtu.be

If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.Smile and the whole world will smile with you, frown and you will frown alone.

“A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance.” (Proverbs 15:13).
”A merry heart doth good like a medicine:” ( Proverbs 17:22a).
It takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile.
It is actually more relaxing on your face to smile, rather than to frown.
It makes you feel better inside to smile.
A warm smile thaws and icy stare.
The world is like a mirror, frown at it and it frowns back to you, smile and it smiles to you.
Nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none to give.
A smile increases your face value.
Your not dressed for work until you wear a smile.
The best kind of smiles are not put on.They come out because they are from within.
All people smile in the same language.
If you have the love of God in your heart and you smile at people, they will know that God has shown them His Love that day through you!
Ask Jesus for his love for others and show it with a smile.
The curve of a smile can set a lot of things straight.
Smiling is contagious, frowning is outrageous.
Just try smiling and see what happens.
Smiling makes your cares go away.
If people ask you why you are smiling so much all the time, it is a great opportunity to witness to them about Jesus and his love. Jesus said; “ye are the light of the world”, because we have Jesus in our hearts. So smile and let your light shine.
Amen.

How to have Patience (video & text)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dB4r2LqbfVg&feature=youtu.be

I have heard it said “don’t pray for patience”. I guess because it’s one of the hardest lessons to learn. It seems that in life we are always waiting on something. In fact the whole of creation is waiting on the Lord to return and straighten this world out.Jesus said, “In your patience possess ye your souls.” (Luke 21: 19). Jesus was telling us that the condition of our soul depends upon our patience.”Let patience have her perfect work that ye may be perfect and entire wanting nothing.” (James 1:4). If we want to be perfect and entire we need to let patience have her perfect work in our lives. until we get to the point where we are just trusting the Lord and not wanting or worrying about anything. This would be a heavenly state of mind to be in wouldn’t it ? Lord help us. This is something we can pray for. We can sometimes be blessed by a little bit of this heavenly gift of patience. Maybe we should just ask the Lord for the gift of patience, and not ask the Lord to teach us patience. How do we get patience? We get patience through faith, and by “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you .”(1 Peter 5:7) Sometimes you have to literally throw all your cares and worries on the Lord. Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart : and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy , and my burden is light.” ( Matthew 11:28-30). If your burden is too heavy, maybe you have taken too much upon yourself, or you haven’t come to Jesus to find his rest for your soul. (Isaiah 26:3) “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” There it is ,the answer to perfect peace. It is like the picture of the little bird perched on a branch by a raging waterfall just sitting there chirping away and trusting in the Lord. Waiting on the Lord is one of the hardest things to do. Yet it is what we have to do. Many times it seems like the whole world is in such a hurry to get no where. Have you ever heard that saying “Hurry up and wait” ? Sometimes it takes time for God to answer prayerWe need to get busy serving the Lord while we are waiting on him, and at the same time we are trusting him to answer our prayers.

Amen.

IS IT OK WITH GOD TO BE JEALOUS ?

“It is of the Lords mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”(Lamentations 3:22,23). “For thou shalt worship no other God: for the Lord, whose name is jealous is a jealous God:” (Exodus 34:14). Did you know that one of God’s names is “Jealous”? I suppose that is the reason the Lord let’s us have a feeling of jealousy sometimes, to let us kind of know how He must feel when we stray away from Him. So maybe it’s not so bad to feel jealous sometimes, so we can know how God must feel. “For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.”(Deuteronomy 4:24).The Lord even told his Prophet Hosea to go and marry a whore to show people how he felt about them whoring after other gods.“The word of the Lord that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel. The beginning of the word of the Lord by Hosea. And the Lord said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the Lord.”(Hosea 1:1,2). “For I the Lord thy God am a jealous God,”(Exodus 20:5).I hope you have communion often with your family and loved ones. You can even have communion with just you and the Lord. Communion is the only ceremony that Jesus commanded us to keep. People should notice something different about us who love Jesus. Let your light shine so you can glorify God. “Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish from the way when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.”(Psalms 2:12).Have you kissed the Son of God today? God wants you to come to him willingly out of love, but to those who won’t, “He that believeth on the Son of God hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”(John 3:36). “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:10,11)

Say this prayer if you want to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

THE JUSTICE OF THIS WORLD

We as Christians and born again believers in Jesus Christ need to realize we are not part of this world just like Jesus told us “Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.”(John 18:36).Jesus didn’t get any justice  from the world did he? “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.  But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.”(John15:19-21). “The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.”(Matthew 10:24-26). There will come a time of judgment for this world and the people in it who think they have escaped their due justice. God’s wheel of justice grinds exceeding slow (sometimes), but exceedingly fine. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7) ” Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” (Romans 12:19).So don’t get so upset when things don’t go right in this world, and you feel you can’t get any justice. And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.  And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.  If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”(Luke 4:5-8).  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” (James 4:4) Remember this world is the devils Kingdom.  No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”(2 Timothy 2:4 ). Don’t let the Devil entangle you, and get you all worried and upset, because you can’t get any justice from this world, but rather expect it as Jesus said this would happen, just like it happened to him. Remember you are a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven and stay focused on our King of Kings, Jesus Christ, and do what you can, where you are, with what you have got, to grow his kingdom.“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”(Ephesians 6:12). “And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:  and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”(Revelation 6:9-11).”And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”(Revelations 20:4). Judgment will actually be given to the saints of the most high. “I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.”(Daniel 7:21,22).Beloved let us pray that the Lord will open our spiritual eyes and help us to understand that we are in a spiritual battle  daily, and that our Kingdom is not of this world; as Jesus told us. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:1,2). Pledge Allegiance to Jesus Christ and his Kingdom above all. Amen?

Say this prayer if you want  to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for my sins ,and rose from the dead. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

WHAT A JOY TO FIND ! (video & text)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bkm57fyd1W8&feature=youtu.be

This may be to far out there for some. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (1 Peter 5:7). Let me ask you, if we are walking around with all these cares and worries on our shoulders, are we really obeying this verse? This verse sounds like a commandment to me and, not just a suggestion. We are supposed to be Lord letter’s, not Christian trier’s. Leave something up to the Holy Spirit. being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”
(Philippians 1:6). Put your trust in Jesus ! Are we really suppose to be walking around with our head in the clouds in a state of such peace and contentment and Heavenly Bliss? YES! YES! YES! Just take it to Jesus in prayer, and leave it with him. Don’t pick it back up from Jesus and go on with it ! Leave it with him. “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you,and learn of me: for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11: 28-30). “What a peace of mind what a joy to find, leaning on the ever lasting arms.” Don’t let the devil use  anything or anybody to steal your JOY. “Neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”( Nehemiah 8:10b).
“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”(John 15:11 ) Remember the way to spell joy is Jesus, Others, and You. As SAVED, BORN AGAIN, HOLY SPIRIT FILLED, WASHED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS, BELIEVERS, may we always be known for our love and our joy ! ! !
Amen.

REAL LEADERS

The Lord needs leaders in his Army. Do you want to be one.? Real leaders are people who see the job needs to be done and they do it without a Title or praise or recognition from man. “not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;”(Ephesians 6:6).”But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant “. (Matthew 23:11 ).   “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”(Mark 10:45 ). Jesus was the greatest leader of all. He led in Love and Humility, and by example. “So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.  If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet.  For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. ( John 13:12-16).It takes time to make a Leader. The Leaders and people that God used in the Bible had to go through great breakings and humblings before they were ready for what the Lord wanted them to do. If you are in God’s school of Leadership, then you are in the school of great breakings so the Lord can shape you, and mold you as the potter shapes the pottery vessel to be ready for the Masters use. God has to get you out of the way so Jesus can shine through. “He must increase but I must decrease.” (John 3:30). If you are in God’s boot camp school of leadership, you are in the school of hard knocks, but the Lord will give you the grace. Jesus said,“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”(Matthew 11:28-30). Don’t leave school until the bell rings. A sign of a leader is someone who feeds the sheep spiritually with the Word, and makes sure everyone around them is progressing in the Lord and his Word. A real leader loves Jesus and wants everyone to get close to Jesus. A real leader makes sure their family has united prayer together everyday, and devotions, and Bible studies together. A real leader has a great sense of responsibility and accountability to the Lord. A real leader is someone who is striving to be like Jesus daily. A real Leader leads by example not just a sermon.

A SAMPLE NOT A SERMON

I’d rather see a sermon than hear one any day;
I’d rather one should walk with me than merely tell the way.
The eye is a better pupil, more willing than the ear;
Fine counsel is confusing, but example is always clear,
And the best of all the preachers are the men who live their creeds,
For to see a good put in action is what everybody needs.
I can soon learn how to do it if you will let me see it done;
I can watch your hand in action, but your tongue too fast may run.
And the lectures you deliver may be very wise and true,
But I’d rather get my lesson by observing what you do.
For I may misunderstand you and the high advice you give,
But there is no misunderstanding how you act and how you live.
When I see a deed of kindness, I am eager to be kind.
When a weaker brother stumbles, and a strong man stands behind.
Just to see if he can help him, then the wish grows strong in me
To become as big and thoughtful as I know that friend to be.
And all travelers can witness that the best of guides today
Is not the one who tells them, but the one who shows the way.
One good man teaches many; men believe what they behold;
One deed of kindness noted is worth forty that are told.
Who stands with men of honor learns to hold his honor dear,
For right living speaks a language which to everyone is clear.
Though an able speaker charms me with his eloquence, I say,
I’d rather see a sermon than hear one any day.
(poem by – Edgar A. Guest)

Amen.
