Which Church Is The True Church, And Where Is The Kingdom Of God?

People are always asking me what Church do I go too, almost every time that I witness to them. When I tell them I am not a member of any Church or denomination, but I am a Missionary, and I am non denominational, and I just follow the Lord as he leads me according to my faith, they seem surprised and somewhat taken back. What Church was Paul and Peter and the disciples a member of? What Church was Martin Luther a member of? What Church was Jesus a member of? He is the Leader, and King of Kings of his own Church.  Almost every so called Church or denomination thinks that their particular organization is the right one, and that everyone else is tripped off and following a false doctrine and false teaching, if they are not with them. One day John the disciple saw someone casting out devils in the name of Jesus, and he forbade him, because he did not follow with their group, and Jesus said to him “Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.”(Luke 9:49,50). The disciples even asked Jesus if he wanted them to call down fire from heaven upon them. But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.(Luke 9:55-56a).The Catholics use the scripture passage where Jesus asked the disciples “Who do you say that I am? They answered him saying some say Elijah the prophet or John the Baptist, or Jeremiah the Prophet come back from the dead. Only Peter said “you are the Christ, the Son of the Living God”. Jesus told him “upon this rock, I will build my Church;”.(Matthew 16:13-19 ). He was talking about what Peter said, and not Peter himself. The Catholics claim Peter as the first Pope, so therefore they say their Church must be the true Church, and everyone who is not a member of their Church and following their Pope is wrong and not following the truth. The truth is Peter was already crucified and dead when they claimed him as their first Pope. Jesus warned us to beware, because there are many false teachers and false Christ’s and false Prophets out there just waiting to gobble you up into their little box that they have put God into.( Matthew 24:4,11,24). Especially new babes who have just recently gotten saved and born again, and are not strong in the Word. I once tried to start a Church because I couldn’t find one that I could totally agree with, but it didn’t work out. So the Lord led me to just be a Missionary, and follow Jesus and share the good news which is the Gospel to anyone who would listen.  It is such a blessing to just be free to follow Jesus wherever he leads, and according to your faith. The Bible says, to “forsake not the assembling of yourselves together.” (Hebrews 10:25). We do fellowship with other Christian believers, and Missionaries, and go to different churches at times when the Lord leads, but I will not let them reign in on me, and put me into bondage of their organization or false doctrines. In fact these Priceless basic truths of the Bible about Salvation, The Holy Spirit, Living for Jesus, End Time Bible Prophecy, Prayer, Faith and Healing. And so much more are put together and written out for you in an easy format to help you understand and get a good solid foundation in all these basic truths that you so desperately need to know. It is a lifetime of learning, studying, and lessons, if you want it. In fact if you can’t find something life changing, and at least inspiring everyday from reading this web site, then God help you.  “whosoever will, let him drink of the water of life freely.” (Revelation  21:6 & 22:17). “Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled”. (Matthew 5:6).”Ye shall know the truth and the Truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32.). Don’t let the devil or any of his wolves bring you into bondage or condemnation. Be free to follow Jesus as he leads you according to his Word. AMEN?You who are believers are the church. The word “Church “, comes from the Greek word “Ecclesia”which means the called out ones, the separated ones. The church is not the building, but the people of God. The early Christians met outdoors, or by the river, or in homes. “The Most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands.” ( Acts 7:48). Your body is the temple of God, and our own hearts are our temple of worship with God where he dwells within us.“Ye are God’s building.”(1 Corinthians 3:9b). “ Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you. If any man defile the temple of God him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is Holy, which temple ye are.” ( I Corinthians 3:16,17). “Jesus said, “ For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” ( Matthew 18:20). The true church is built with living stones.” Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” (l Peter 2:5). “Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body.” ( John 2:19-21).  “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit, and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a spirit : and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” ( John 4:23,24). Most every so called church and denomination claim that they have the corner market on God,and that their group has the truth, and all other denominations are false. “The Kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here ! Or ,lo there! For , behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” ( Luke 17: 20b,21).  The fact is that all born again Christian Believers are the Church of Jesus Christ ! The world probably would have been evangelized and won to Christ by now if the church hadn’t gotten side tracked by the devil into building great buildings, and denominations and concentrated on winning the lost, and every christian believer would become a missionary as God intended. Instead of just paying their preacher to do it. After you are saved, your primary job in this life is to witness and reach the lost, which includes teaching our children about the ways of the Lord. If we are not doing that we might as well just go to Heaven as soon as we get saved.“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” ( Hebrews 10:25). All Christians need to fellowship and pray and encourage one another. You are either a missionary or a mission field, Which are you?

Don’t give the devil an inch or he will take a mile!  “Give no place to the devil.”(Ephesians 4:27).Remember beloved we are in a spiritual fight, and you need to put your Armour on before you get out of bed and before your feet hit the floor! “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” (Ephesians 6: 10-18). “Be sober, be vigilant, for your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion,walketh about seeking whom he may devour.” (1Peter 5 :8) .You have to fight the devil with the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God. I don’t want to hear from anybody that “It’s too hard for me to memorize.” That’s just being plain lazy! How is the Holy Spirit going to bring all things to your remembrance if you haven’t memorized it ? No Soldier in his right mind would go running of to battle with a dull weak sword. Your sword is your knowledge of the Word. A partial knowledge of a scripture, and not knowing the reference makes a weaker sword than knowing the full scripture and it’s reference. Don’t be stubborn and rebellious against memorizing.“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.” ( I Samuel 15:23a). We need to brain wash ourselves with the Word! The devil is trying to brainwash you with all that he has to offer in this world that he runs. Jesus said, “Now ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you.” (John 15:3). You are really hurting yourself if you don’t memorize the scriptures, and cutting yourself short. There will come a time when the Bible will be banned as it is now in many countries,and all you will have is what you have hidden in your heart by memorizing. Some people have fallen away because they started belittling the Bible, and started saying it’s not that important to memorize the Bible.Don’t let it happen to you! If you have a bad dream or a nightmare just start quoting scriptures and chapters. I’m telling you, the devil hates the Word and he will flee from you, if you quote the scriptures. “Submit yourselves therefore unto God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands ye sinners: and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”(James 4:7-8).The best way to resist the devil is with the Word! Get you some 3×5 cards and write down your verse or verses that you are working on for the day, and hang it about your neck and read it every hour. What a great way to witness. You can say to people “would you like to hear my verse that I am working on today? YEAH !

Dreams and Desires

It has been said, ” If you want to make God laugh, just tell him your plans,” It is ok, and good to have dreams and goals and plans for the future, just do what the Bible says; “whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.”(James 4:14,15). Remember to always say “Lord willing”, after you say what your going to do.“Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”(Psalms 37:4,5). The Lord put it in your heart to have dreams and desires, and he loves you and loves to help you fulfill them. He gives the very best to those that leave the choices up to him. “Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord,or being his counsellor hath taught him?“ (Isaiah 40:13).  “For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? “(Romans 11:34).“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith  the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8,9). Most Churches have a pre-written program of the service and the sermon and a step by step pre-planned diagram of every thing to be said and done during the service. Can you imagine getting a blank program as you walk through the door, and the Pastor starts off by saying ” Today we are going to let the Lord and the Holy Spirit fill this brochure out.” It is sure a lot more fun and exciting falling into the hands of God and seeing what thrills and intoxications of the Spirit that he has in store for you. Jesus said, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”( John 4:24). I wouldn’t advise you to say no, or never to God, or to tell him what you are going to do.The Lord may have some greater and bigger plans up his sleeve  for you, more than you can ask or think. Don’t limit the Holy One of Israel ! “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”(I Corinthians 2:9).The future is as bright as the promises of God.”But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”(Proverbs 4:18). Have faith in God that he knows what is best for you and that he has the best plans in store for your future. Just make sure the paths that you choose are according to the Word and the leading of the Holy Ghost. Godly counsel always helps. The Lord often gives you different choices within his will just to see what you will do. It’s like the Bible says “Like as a father pitieth his children,so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.”(Psalm 103:13).Take one day at a time, Don’t worry about tomorrow.“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”(Matthew 6:34).He has got the whole world in his hands. There is not one hair on your head that falls, or one sparrow that falls to the ground unless God allows it for a purpose.“Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.  But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.”(Matthew 10:29-31).The Lord has gotten me out of countless jams that I have gotten myself into, and he has worked things out for good, when I cried out to Jesus ! “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.“(Romans 8:28).

A DIFFERENT WAY TO LOOK AT THINGS

Are sufferings and afflictions, and grief a blessing? “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:19). The Lord promises us in his Word that we will have how many afflictions? MANY! How many of these afflictions does he promise us that he will deliver us from? ALL OF THEM! ” For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.” (Philippians 1:29).The Bible tells us that sufferings are given to us. So we should be thankful for the things that are given to us, Amen? “Even the Son learned obedience through the things which he suffered” ( Hebrews 5:8).). ” Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith: who for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2). “My brethren count it all joy when ye fall into diverse temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire wanting nothing.” (James 1:2-4). Jesus was “a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.” (Isaiah 53:5).“The Lord is neigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth them that are of a contrite (crushed) spirit.” (Psalm 34:18).“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flames kindle upon thee.” (Isaiah 43:2). “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”(IThessalonians 5:16-18).  Life can make you bitter or better, depending on how you handle it. “And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.” ( Matthew 21:44). Beloved if we look at sorrow and grief and suffering in the light of these scriptures we can see things more clearly and in a whole new perspective, and it will help us to get through these times, Amen? Trials of your faith come to make you strong in the Lord. “that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:” (1 Peter 1:7).

75 DAYS AND THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST

Why are some saved Christians not looking forward to being in Heaven and seeing Jesus? The Bible says,” For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” (II Corinthians 5:10 ). “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” ( Daniel 12:2&3). Now we know from the scriptures that from the time, of the Rapture, until Jesus takes over the world to rule it for 1,000 years that there will only be a time period of 75 days. See our class on Daniel Chapter 12. How could he possibly have time to see and judge all the saved Christians? There must be Billions. Perhaps the ones who have already gone on to Heaven have already appeared before Jesus Christ, and that would only leave the millions or billions going up in the Rapture, but there still wouldn’t be enough time to see everyone individually during those 75 days. Right? Remember we’ve got to have the Marriage Supper of the Lamb  and the six Vials of God’s Wrath poured out upon the earth, and the Seventh Vial which is the Battle of Armageddon during this 75 day time.Well, with God nothing shall be impossible, and remember in the spirit and for the saved, time shall be no more. Maybe it will happen somehow in the spirit where we are not bound by time. Or maybe we will all appear before Jesus and he will pass out the crowns and rewards all during the Marriage supper at a mass gathering, or maybe for some it will happen during the Millennium. I kind of think that this is the way it will be.What do you think? Well it’s interesting to think about. Isn’t it? It makes you want to get right with God and serve the Lord, and win souls, and do like Jesus said; “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:”(Matthew 6:19,20). Remember Salvation is a free gift for the asking, but your Heavenly rewards, you have to work for. There is no greater reward than seeing Jesus and hearing him say to you, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: enter thou into the JOY of thy Lord.” (Matthew 25:21), and also seeing the souls that you personally won or helped win to Jesus, in heaven forever. So where does the 75 days come from, well you just need to study our classs on Daniel chapter 12 to find that question out. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)

DO YOU HAVE TOO MUCH KOSMOS ?

Jesus wants us to be clean SPIRITUALLY. He said “Now are ye clean through the word that I have spoken unto you.”(John 15:3).It is easier to get people saved than it is to get the world out of their hearts. If we have a hankering,and longing desire for the world, and worldliness, and worldly things,then there is something spiritually wrong with us,and the only cure for that is the Word, and Faith which comes by hearing the Word of God.“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17).The Bible says; “ but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (I John 1:7)”Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”(James 4:4). Beloved it is a serious problem in the eyes of God when we have worldly desires in our hearts. “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away,and the lust therof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.”(I John 2:16).The Word “world” comes from the Greek word “Kosmos” which means “The established order of events, and ornamental adornment.” The word cosmetics or makeup also comes from this word. Remember this the next time you spend to much time in front of the mirror putting on your makeup. It can turn into a form of self worship, and a spiritual drain on you.”And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee,and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will, I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.”(Luke 4:6,7).Remember satan is the king of this world, and the power of it is given into his hands and he gives it to whomsoever he wills. Maybe some of you girls ought to read what God said about makeup and jewelry in (Isaiah 3:16-24) if you dare! Here it is all written out for you so you don’t even have to go and look it up. “Moreover the Lord saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will discover their secret parts. In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers, The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings, The rings, and nose jewels, The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins, The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails. And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.” There is nothing wrong with trying to make yourself look nice and be presentable so you can be a witness for the Lord, but there is a line you can cross when it becomes a form of self worship and doesn’t glorify the Lord.”Set your affection on things above,not on things of the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”(Colossians 3:2,3).“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee,nor forsake thee.” (Hebrews 13:5). Be content just knowing Jesus and having him in your heart. For your own sake get a good balance.“A false balance is an abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.”(Proverbs 11:1). We have heard of anger management, but we need some thought management also. That’s where the enemy attacks us is in our thoughts. You can’t keep the birds from flying over your head but you can keep the from making a nest in your hair, and so it is with our thoughts. We need to literally brain wash ourselves with the Word of God, by memorizing and reading,and meditating on the Word every day. The devil is a lot smarter than you and me. Remember he has been around for over 6000 years, but he is not smarter than Jesus! The way Jesus fought the devil is with the Word. When you get saved, and even before, demons are assigned to you to try and get you side tracked and away from the Lord, and winning others to Jesus. It is a spiritual war every day that we are in. You may have lost a battle or two, but you haven’t lost the war.“No man that warreth entangeleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”(II Timothy 2:4).So don’t let the enemy entangle you. When you are walking down the same street with the devil and his demons, you don’t get much resistance from them, and even their help and blessings,but when you turn around and start going the opposite direction from them, then all hell breaks loose. When you get out of the trenches and start attacking the enemy and his strong holds, then he sends his heavy bombardments on you. Take on the Whole Armour of God. Finally a word about fashion.” and they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.” (1 Corinthians 7:31). “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.  For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”(Luke 21:33-36)

Maybe we should all read this message again, and once a week at least ! ! ! ! ! ! !

AMAZING PEACE

Jesus is the PRINCE OF PEACE. Jesus said “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called “The Children of God.” (Matthew 5:9 ).Are you a peacemaker, do you go about every where making peace? Then you shall be blessed and be called a child of God. Here is the other side of the coin, if they don’t want Jesus then Jesus said, “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.  And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.  He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.  And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.”(Matthew 10:34-38 ). “While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.  Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.  But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?  And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” ( Matthew 12:46-50).  “So there was a division among the people because of him.” (John 7:43 ). Our job is to bring them peace by bringing them Jesus, but if they don’t want Jesus, then they never will find peace “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” ( John 3:36).There is no peace without Jesus Christ. “But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.” (Isaiah 57:20,21 ). ” and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.“ ( IIThessalonians 2:10-12.) God said that he will chose the delusions for people who reject the truth, even though they think that they are chosing their own delusions. “I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.”( Isaiah 66:4,5) “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27 ).“ And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7). You can have peace in the midst of a storm. You can have joy when there is no joy to be found. Just look up to the Lord. Just cry out to Jesus and he will immediately be there for you.

People are always asking,” How are you doing?” And I was asking the Lord, what would be a good response so that I could be a witness, and it came to me to just say, “Oh just loving Jesus.” Isn’t that really what life is all about, and why we are here in the first place? The Lord made it so simple for us. It is the enemy who tries to make things so complicated and confusing.“God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.”(1Corinthians 14:33).You can be loving the Lord no matter what you are doing whether cooking, cleaning ,working, or witnessing, or whatever you’re doing. “Whether therefore ye eat or drink or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”(I Corinthians 10:31 ). If we just keep our mind and hearts stayed on Jesus we can have perfect peace.”Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”( Isaiah 26:3). That’s why the Bible says to,“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.“(I Thessalonians 5:16-18 ). Sometimes all it takes is a small moment for a bit of refreshing from on high by stopping to pray and listen to the Lord in the midst of confusion and strife, “Be still and know that I am God.”(Psalm 46:10) Let Jesus work things out. His shoulders are big and strong enough to take care of the whole world and all of the people in Heaven too. Leave something up to the Holy Spirit. Quit worrying, and trying to take every ones problems on including your own. One of my favorite verses that I use a lot is,“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.“( Matthew 11:28-30).“Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”( Matthew 18:3). When is the last time you saw a little child running around worried about everything? About the only thing most children are concerned about is playing and having a good time. Just take life one day at a time, and one hour at a time, and just love the Lord and enjoy his creation, and help others to do the same.“Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.”(Psalm 119:143). Find comfort and strength from God’s word. Worrying can make you physically sick and cause you all kinds of problems. Worrying is not trusting, and having faith in the Lord. “casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”   (1 Peter 5:7) You are wise if you are simple. Amen?

DO YOU WANT TO BE CONTENT ?

 Are we supposed to want something? The Prophet Daniel and his fellows saw a hand writing on the wall, which you can read about in Daniel Chapter 5. The hand wrote ME’-NE, ME’-NE, TE’-KEL, U-PHARSIN, on the wall, which­­­­ means  “Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.” (This means they were found needing to be right with God. What if you were sitting in your living room and you saw a hand appear, and write ME’-NE, ME’-NE, TE’-KEL, U-PHARSIN, on your wall?) “And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.“(1 Timothy 6:8-12). “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” ( Hebrews 13:5). It seems that the heart of man can never be satisfied. We will always want more and more. As soon as we get what we want we want something else, or more, or better. This is the opposite of what the Bible teaches us. In fact the Scripture says; “Let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” ( James 1:4). “ Mark the perfect man, and behold the up right: for the end of that man is peace.” ( Psalm 37:37). If we delight ourselves in the Lord, he will give us the desires of our heart. ( Psalm 37:4). This verse shows us that we should just want more and more of Jesus, and his Love, and his Word, and the Holy Spirit! Amen? King David was a man after God’s own heart. Lord help us to be that way. ( Acts 13:22). “Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.“( Psalm 73:25). Beloved if we desire contentment we need to ask the Lord to help us follow these verses. “But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33). Of course if we just want more of Jesus, then we will also want everyone to know him too!

HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN RIGHT NOW ( video & text)

Would you like to be more loving, and kind, and more like Jesus? One thing I think that would help us all, is to realize that the way we treat the Lord and others is how the Lord will treat us. “For with the same measure that ye meet withal it shall be measured to you again.”(Luke 6:38b ).”whatsoever a man soweth the same shall he reap.”(Galatians 6:7b). “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you ,do ye even so unto them.”(Matthew 7:12a). Even if people don’t treat you right, go ahead and treat them right.” Be not overcome with evil, but over come evil with good.”(Romans 12:21).“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”( Matthew 5:44-48).So if you want the Lord to Love you and bless you and be kind to you. Then treat the Lord and others the same way you want the Lord and others to treat you. Jesus said; “THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY MIND. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF.”(Matthew 22:37-39).It’s like a boomerang, it will come back to you.I think if we are more mindful of this spiritual and scriptural truth, that it will help us in our daily encounters, and it will help us to be more careful and prayerful in the things we say and do.If we all would try and be more like Jesus we could have a little bit of Heaven right now in our hearts and lives. Wow, what a change that would make!!! Why wait until you get to heaven, when you can have a little bit of Heaven right now?
