I don’t believe in second chances. I believe in unlimited chances of God’s love and mercy. “Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times : but Until seventy times seven.“ (Matthew 18: 21,22) He didn’t mean to stop forgiving after 490 times. He was talking about unlimited forgiveness and mercy. If you have been saved any length of time, you will know what I mean, that you need God’s forgiveness, and love, and mercy every day. You know that you need more than just a second chance. God does have only one condition though, and that is, that we come to him through faith in his only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “No man cometh unto the Father but by me”(John 14:6). The way we forgive others (and forget) is the way God will treat us.”We pray in the Lords Prayer “Forgive us our trespasses, AS we forgive.” A Christian is not perfect but forgiven. When Jesus washed his disciples feet he was trying to show us that even though once was enough for salvation, still everyday we need to be washed and cleansed by his love and forgiveness as we walk through the dirt of this world. “Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; he riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all. For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.” ( John 13:3-11). This brings us to the question,” was Judas saved?” I believe it is possible that Judas got saved when he realized what he had done. ” For with God nothing shall be impossible.” ( Luke 1:37). Did you know that if you are a saved born again Christian, Jesus Christ believer that you are;

1.) AN ADOPTED SON OR DAUGHTER OF GOD, our Heavenly Father. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have ever lasting life.”(John 3:16), and we are given the power to become sons and daughters of God by receiving Jesus as our Savior. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name; “(John 1:12)

2.) A JEW. ” For he is not a Jew which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.” ( Romans 2:28,29). “And if ye are Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”  (Galatians 3:29 ). If you were Jewish in the flesh before you received Jesus, now you are a completed Jew, because you have the Messiah: Jesus Christ in your heart.

3.)  A BRIDE.  ( Spiritually) (Revelations 19).“Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.” (Romans 7:4).

4.) A VIRGIN. (Spiritually) “These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whitersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb.” (Revelations 14:4).

5.) A BABE. “And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” ( Matthew 18:2-4). “As new born babes , desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” (I Peter 2:2).

6.) POSSESSED by the good Spirit of the Lord. You can never be possessed by an evil Spirit if you have Jesus Christ in your heart, but you can be oppressed by a bad spirit from the devil, but the enemy cannot fully take you over because you belong to Jesus. ” I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. “( Hebrews 13:5).

7.) A NEW, AND DIFFERENT PERSON. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” ( II Corinthians 5:17). “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”  (Galatians 2:20).

When I lived in California this was a popular saying. People were saying “You’ve got to find yourself.” Well Recently I was talking to my sweet daughter Michelle and that very saying came up. Well, the Lord put it on my heart to share this little message with everyone. You know I would go so far as to say that we all deserve to be in prison, or maybe most all of us, but certainly we all deserve to go to Hell. But isn’t Jesus wonderful, He has so much love and mercy on us that he died for our sins so that we could be saved by believing in him and accepting him as our Saviour so we can go to heaven and have Eternal life, the gift of God, which no amount of money, or good works can ever buy. Praise The Lord! Amen? Paul said, “For I know that in me (that is in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.” (Romans 7:18,19). Beloved if you are ever able to find yourself, I am afraid you will not like what you find. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23). “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as the leaf; and our iniquities like the wind have taken us away.”(this is talking about menstruous rags)( Isaiah 64:6).If you want to go looking for yourself, just look in the garbage can at some old used menstrual pads and you’ll find yourself. So let us not go looking for ourselves, but let us get lost in Jesus and his love. Amen?  “He must increase, but I must decrease.”(John 3:30). “He that findeth his life shall loose it: and he that looseth his life for my sake shall find it.”(Matthew 10:39). We need to be more and more like Jesus every day. We can be a new person every day by getting closer and closer to the Master. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”(II Corinthians 5:17).Leave yourself behind and go running after Jesus, and never go back to find yourself ! By the way, have you ever seen a filthy menstruous rag walking around in pride and being offended about something? Perhaps if we realized what our righteousness is like in God’s eyes it might help us to be more humble, meek, loving and forgiving.

Love gives of its time. Love goes the extra mile. Love casts a veil over countless sins and mistakes, Love has a spiritual sight that sees the good and possibilities that others can not see. Love loves the unlovely. Love will motivate you to do what you don’t want to do. Love has compassion not just pity. Love hopes and endures. Love believes. Love never fails. Love will never leave you or forsake you. Love goes on by faith when feeling is not there. Love is what everyone needs. Love is what everyone is searching for. Love is the answer. You can’t see love, but you can surely see the results of love. Love makes life worth living.Love esteems others better than ones self. Love is kind. Love is quick toforgive,and forget. Love is meek, and love is humble. Love is being like Jesus. Some times Love is tough.Love is telling the truth. Love envies not, Love does not exalt ones self. Love is not puffed up. Love seeks not its own, is not easily provoked, Love thinks no evil. Love rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, Love endures all things. Love is the greatest of all gifts.( see God’s Love Chapter 1 Corinthians 13) “God is Love.” (1 John 4:8 b).Love is why Jesus went to the Cross when he could have called 10,000 Angels to destroy the world. Love will see you through. Love is the main thing you need.Love comes from God. Love is yours for the asking”.We love him because he first loved us.” “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.”(John 3:16). Love is more important than knowledge. “Many waters can not quench love, neither can the floods drown it:” ( Song of Solomon 8:7 a ). Lovesees what needs to be done and does it without the praise of man. Love seeks first the Lord and the Kingdom of God. “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this , that a man lay down his life for his friends.” ( John 15:12,13 ).” Hereby perceive we the LOVE of God, because he laid down his life for us and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” (1 John 3:16). John 3 :16 is Gods part,  and 1 st. John 3:16 is our part. Lord help us to have more of your love and help us to be known by our love. Jesus Christ is the greatest manifestation of Gods love. Love is greater than religion. Love is pure religion. “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it,Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.“ (Matthew 22:37-39).God’s Love is my religion. What is your religion? God’s only law is LOVE !!! Everyday is about The Love of God Through His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ. February 14 is a Worldly event. It focuses on Hearts, Roses, Chocolates.  (1 John 4:8b), “FOR GOD IS LOVE” let that sink in.

“Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you.”(Matthew 6:33) Jesus just wants you to just love him first of all.“Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:  and hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have some what against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.  But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”(Revelation 2:1-7) Just take one day at a time. The Lord said; “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”( Matthew 6:34) There is enough to take care of today, why borrow from tomorrow’s cares. Commit tomorrow in his hands. Mark Twain said; “most of the things I worried about never happened any way.” If you worry about something too much you can cause it to happen.“For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me,and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.”(Job 3:25) “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” (Philippians 4:8,9).Remember, God spoke Creation into existence, “And God said; It is good.”  You can speak negative or positive things into existence just by talking about them.You can also think things into existence by dwelling on negative thoughts. Worrying is not trusting.Worrying is a form of worship, because you are giving your thoughts, time, and energy to what ever your worrying about.Worrying is the devils distraction.The Lord will give you grace for the trial at the hour of the trial, not before.“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths,”(Proverbs 3:5,6). Have faith in God. Expect a miracle today! God does miracles every day.Big and small,sometimes behind the scenes, and we don’t even see or realize it.Take time with the Lord to pray and listen to him. “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee,saying this is the way,walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”(Isaiah 30:21)“Delight thyself also in the Lord;and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,and thy judgment as the noonday.Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place,and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.” (Psalm 37:4-11) Ask someone to help you watch the kids or what ever else you are  so involved in, so you can take a little prayer and Word time.You will find that you won’t be so up tight, and you”ll be more relaxed and refreshed,and renewed.“Be still, and know that I am God:I will be exalted among the heathen,I will be exalted in the earth.” ( Psalms 46:10).

Mercy is undeserved Grace and Love. GRACE is a Gift Received At Christ’s Expense . Psalm 136 says; His Mercy endures forever 26 times ! “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23). This is one of my favorite verses I claim everyday. “Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;” (Psalms 103:2-4).“The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children; to such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.”(Psalms 103: 8-18).The Lord also shows mercy to those who don’t deserve it because nobody keeps his commandments all of the time. “Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.” (Luke 7:47). “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?“(Micah 6:8).
