Letting Go and Holding On

When is the right time to let go? This question might be something  we need to seek the Lord Jesus Christ and his  guidance on when we are faced with so much burden it feels over whelming. God’s word says; “casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (I Peter 5:7). If your daily life has become to heavy laiden with problems and burdens that keep you away from the peace and rest you have been given through Jesus, then maybe you have taken on more than the Lord wants you to carry. The Lord said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30). No amount of medication, drugs, alcohol can compare to the peace and rest Jesus Christ offers. He knows our frame , he knows our every weakness. He is personally acquainted with  our grief. “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:3-6). I don’t know about you, but I just want a simple life, with low stress. This is what Jesus offers us. If you have too much stress in your life, this can be very unhealthy for you, and you need to do something about it. Get rid of the problem, or problems, or rid yourself from the problem people. It has been said it is better to pray them out than to throw them out.” He that is able to receive this, let him receive it. Are you still seeking relief ? Maybe you should read this again. Turn to Jesus in prayer. He wants to help you because he loves you and cares about what you are going through. We are weak, but he is strong. Don’t let anything, or anyone steal your JOY !!!

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH FOR THE LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST CHURCH

1.) We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Begotten Son of The Living God,and that he was born of a virgin, and died for the sins of all mankind, and that he rose from the dead on the third day after he was crucified. Isaiah 7: 14 , John 3: 16, Romans 10: 9,10

2.) We believe in the Trinity, the Father ,the Son,and the Holy Ghost, The Holy Family of all Creation. Genesis Chapter 1, 1st John 5:7, John 1:14

3.) We believe that there is only Salvation through Jesus Christ by God’s Grace, through Faith in him, and his blood that he shed when he died for our sins, and that Salvation is not by our own works or our own righteousness. Ephesians 2:8,9, John 14:6, Titus 3:5, Acts 4:12.

4.) We believe in Creation in 6 days by God, and Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Just like the Bible says in Genesis Chapter 1.We don’t believe in the theory (lie ) of Evolution.

5.) We believe in being filled and over flowing with the Holy Ghost.(Acts 1:8) to give us power to witness for Jesus.

6.) We believe that every Christian Believer is called to be a witness for Jesus Christ. Mark 16:15

7.) We believe in the Bible, and that it is the inspired Word of God. Isaiah 8:20

8.) We believe in following Jesus Christ only, and that he is our Saviour and King of Kings. We are not a part of any denomination, or cult. We are a fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ only!

9.) We believe that our Salvation is Eternal, and that we can never lose it. Hebrews 13:5, John 10: 27-31, John 6:37, Jeremiah 3:14, Ecclesiastes 3:14.

10.) We believe in fellowship together ,and having communion often and that the Lord doesn’t want us to put our emphasis on a building other than as a meeting place, because God’s people are the Church. Acts 7:48, John 4: 23,24

11.) We believe in Healing by faith in Jesus Christ. Mark 9:23, Isaiah 53:6

12.) We believe that Jesus Christ is coming back soon to rule the world! Matthew 24.

HONOUR

Respect, Esteem, Recognition, Praise, and Glory are all words that go along with and define the term Honour. So many times the Bible teaches us something different than what the world teaches us. This is what Jesus said about Honour; “How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?” (John 5:44). Be careful if you seek after worldly honour from man, because you might get it. “And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.” (Psalm 106:15). In fact Jesus said, “Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.” (Luke 6:26).If you value the praise of men you better catch it quick while it is passing, because it is soon gone! You will find out to achieve this honour, and recognition that they usually want you to compromise your beliefs, and do, and teach things their way. You will find out that this type of honour does not give you the self-gratification that you are seeking after. “not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;” (Ephesians 6:6) “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever” (1John 2:16,17). They even call it an “Honorary” Degree, or a P.H.D. (piled higher and deeper). Jesus was the ultimate example,“who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name  that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:6-11). So be careful and don’t fall into the devils trap of seeking Honour from man.It won’t turn out like you think it will. Seeking Honour from God is a good thing to do, but you will probably be “despised and rejected of men” like Jesus was. (Isaiah 53). “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.” (John 15:18-21).  “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” (Matthew 5:10-12).“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” (2 Timothy 3:12). “By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honor, and life.“. (Proverbs 22:4).

DON’T WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW

Take one day at a time. God gives you faith for the day. Faith for the hour.If you start thinking too far in the future it can get very trying to say the least. There is a certain peace that comes when we don’t worry about tomorrow. In fact Jesus said, “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” ( Matthew 6:34). There is enough to have to deal with today, instead of borrowing tomorrows care. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”(1 Corinthians 10:13). Just love the Lord right now and trust him for tomorrow. After all God lives in the eternal now where time does not exist, and so can we. Jesus gives us grace and strength for the day and the hour and the minute and the second, one second at a time. That’s why he commanded us to take no thought or worry about tomorrow. It’s not just a suggestion or a good idea. It’s a commandment from the Lord himself. Put your hand in the hand of the man who walked on the water, and calmed the troubled sea. “See that ye be not troubled.” (Matthew 24:6b) “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10a). Lord help us to learn to rest in you. So let us try it we might like it, resting in the Lord that is.

I’d rather see a sermon than hear one any day;

For to see a good put in action is what everybody needs.
I can soon learn how to do it if you will let me see it done;
I can watch your hand in action, but your tongue too fast may run.
And the lectures you deliver may be very wise and true,
But I’d rather get my lesson by observing what you do.
For I may misunderstand you and the high advice you give,
But there is no misunderstanding how you act and how you live.
When I see a deed of kindness, I am eager to be kind.
When a weaker brother stumbles, and a strong man stands behind.
Just to see if he can help him, then the wish grows strong in me
To become as big and thoughtful as I know that friend to be.
And all travelers can witness that the best of guides today
Is not the one who tells them, but the one who shows the way.
One good man teaches many; men believe what they behold;
One deed of kindness noted is worth forty that are told.
Who stands with men of honor learns to hold his honor dear,
For right living speaks a language which to everyone is clear.
Though an able speaker charms me with his eloquence, I say,
I’d rather see a sermon than hear one any day.

WHOM SO EVER WILL, LET HIM COME

Jesus said; “And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”(Revelation 22:17).You know the old saying you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink. Jesus does not force himself on anyone. He wants us to come to him from our own free will. I have been learning that lesson lately. I so want everyone to come to Jesus and live for him, but most don’t really want to. I guess they just want to use Jesus as a fire escape and not help many others if any out of the burning building as long as they just get themselves out. You want your children to all serve the Lord and you pour into them over the years and want them to turn out to be flaming evangelists, but it doesn’t always turn out like that. Maybe that is why Jesus cursed the fig tree which is symbolic of Israel. When he came to it to see if there were any figs on it or fruit and found none he cursed it and it dried up and withered. Here in America it is like finding a needle in a hay stack, if you can find anyone who is sheepy and hungry for the truth of the Word .Most are indifferent. Can you imagine what would have happened if the Disciples hadn’t immediately left their boats and their father and followed Jesus? They would have disappeared and fallen into oblivion never to be heard of or accomplish anything, but instead they went on to change the world and will be great in heaven forever and even have their names written on the twelve foundations of the Holy City. “And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.”(Revelation 21:12-14). God’s word says; “While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”(Matthew 12:46-50). Jesus said;  “ For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” (Matthew 23:39) ” He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life,and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.”(John 3:36).“ For many are called, but few are chosen.” ( Matthew 22:14),( because so few choose to be chosen).This message was not meant to be a discouragement, but a challenge. Some lights are bright street lights, some light bulbs are 60 watt, some are 40 watt, some are 20 watt, some are 5 watt, and then you have Christmas tree lights, even Christmas tree lights can be seen along ways off in total darkness.Too bad some people aren’t ready yet. I guess they believe they have all the time in the world. Maybe they need to have more of the school of hard knocks. “Then said Jesus unto his disciples; ” And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” (Luke 9:23,24.) Who or what do you love most?

THE JOURNEY AND HOW FAR DOES GODS LOVE GO

The journey of my life has brought me here,

to this desolate place where I tremble with fear,

my own actions alone have brought me disgrace,

I turn to God and in shame hide my face.

I know that he’s forgiven and in return I should forget,

but the sins of my past I continue to regret,

I know as time passes the hurt will pass too.

With Gods grace and mercy I’ll have strenght to pull through !

                                            HOW FAR DOES GOD’S LOVE GO ?

How great is Gods love and mercy? It is greater than the tallest mountain, and deeper than the deepest ocean it goes farther than the farthest star.There is no end to Gods love, and mercy. “As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”(Psalm 103:12). Mans love and mercy only goes so far, but the Lord’s love and mercy has no boundaries. The speed of light is said to be 186,000 miles per second x 60 seconds in a minute is 11,160,000 miles x 60 minutes in an hour is 669,600,000 miles x 24 hours in a day is 16,070,400,000 miles X 365 days in a year is 5,865,696,000,000 miles X 6,232 years since creation up to 2014 is 3,655,501,747,200,000
miles.That is how far the farthest star is that we can see.This is not even counting how far away the stars are that we can’t see yet, but as time moves on, more stars will appear. This is how far Gods love goes it is never ending. Then there is another dimension past this one that never ends. Most important he sent his Son to die for us to show his ultimate love for us.

OLD BOTTLES AND WOLVES IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING

 “And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.” (Luke 5:36-39). It is so hard for people, because of their pride, who have been taught for a long period of time a false doctrine, or teaching, for them to admit that their Preacher or Teacher could be wrong, especially one whom they trusted in or looked up to with respect. They are like the guy whose mind is made up and he doesn’t want to be confused with the facts. The sad thing is that they not only fall into a strong delusion themselves, but they infect others with their delusion. “and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (II Thessalonians 2:10-12), and it goes on and on to others. If you in your heart are harboring any false doctrine or teaching and won’t let it go, because of your pride and unwillingness to admit that you were wrong, after you have been shown the truth from the Word of God, that your false teacher was wrong, then this makes you a wolf in sheep clothing. Here is a word of caution. “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”(Galatians 1:8,9) You can brush this off if you want and just be like an Ostrich who just sticks his head in the sand, and say “I just want to love Jesus and win souls”.  I tell you the truth, teaching false doctrine is a very serious sin with God, or the Lord wouldn’t have mentioned it twice in Galatians Chapter 1. There is hope, ask Jesus to forgive you and others who you may have infected with your false doctrine, and quit listening to false preachers and teachers who spout out false lies from satan himself. If you think this message is for you, your right. Can you receive it? I’m only writing this to you because I love you!

DO YOU WANT STRONG DELUSION OR THE TRUTH ?

You can’t believe that the earth is millions of years old and believe in the Bible. The Bible clearly states that the world was created by God 6,180 years ago. See the age of the earth chart  included in this message. The sun, moon, and stars were not created until the fourth day of creation. “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:  and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day “ (Genesis 1:14-19). “In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth.” (Genesis 1:1). The earth is the main part of creation where God sent his Son. The Bible teaches us that these astral body’s influence our lives here on earth. “and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:” (Genesis 1:14b). All of these stellar distances are mere theory. There is not a single star that we can see which is more than 6,180 light years away because time has only existed for 6,180 years ( as of 2020). However God created Stars, Planets, and Galaxies that are farther out than 6,180 years, we just can’t see them yet. The lights in the heavens were visible from day four. “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.” (Genesis 1:16). The reason the devil stirs up these false teacher demons ·to keep cramming these lies down our kids throat in public schools is because he ( the devil) is trying to destroy faith in the Bible, because you just can’t believe the earth is millions or billions of years old, or that stars are millions of light years away and believe in the Bible. There is plenty of proof that the Bible is true from fulfilled prophecy and there is no proof that their lies of evolution are true! It’s a crying shame that we have to pay our hard earned tax dollars to pay for these devils to teach our children lies. “The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.” (I Corinthians 3:19). Maybe you should pray about home schooling your children, The Lord showed me that the public school system spiritually is like the horrible god molech which the children of Israel would throw their children into its belly where a raging fire would burn them up. This is one of the main reasons why God’s judgments came down upon them so heavy in 586 B.C., when Babylon destroyed Jerusalem. “Thou shalt not cause thy children to pass thru the fire” (Leviticus 18:21 ).“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (II Thessalonians 2:10-12).

LOOK TO THE FUTURE

The very fact that you’re still alive proves that God is not finished with you. Paul said, it would be better for him to go on and be with the Lord, but it was more needful for us that he still remained alive in the flesh to minister the Word of God to us. The Lord used him greatly to write the inspired scriptures to us. The Bible tells us “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do,forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus “(Philippians 3:13,14 )

What does that mean? Well it is different for each of us. If you have children, then your job from God is obvious. You are to do your best to take care of them, most of all spiritually and train them in the ways of the Lord, and his Word. Beloved this is not a suggestion but it is a commandment from the Lord. Forget the things that are behind. Do you really have time to dwell on your past? Especially your sins and mistakes? Toynbee said “The only thing that we learn from history is that we never learn from history.”God help us, this should not be the case for believers.The Lord wants us to learn from our mistakes and not to make them again, and even make progress.The Future is as bright as the promises of God! “But the path of the just is as the shinning light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” (Proverbs 4:18). Ask by faith for forgiveness, believe God’s Word that you are forgiven, forgive others, and yourself, and press forward in your Christian life, and remember that someday soon we will see Jesus, and do you want him to say to you? “Well done thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”(Matthew 25:23). You can’t live on your past glory’s either. “There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.”(Ecclesiastes 8: 8 ).
You don’t retire ever from the Lord’s service! Remember only the good things that God has blessed you with and all the miracles he has done for you and draw strength from them and praise and thank him for all those good blessings and great and little miracles he has done for you. There are so many big and little miracles he has done for you. Write them down and reflect back on them. Are little miracles and small things important? You bet they are.The loss of a NAIL caused the loss of a shoe, and the loss of a shoe caused the loss of a horse, and the loss of a horse caused the loss of a King, and the loss of a King caused the loss of a kingdom. all because of one little nail.
