ANGELS (PART 4)

“Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshiping of angels, Intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind.”(Colossians 2:18).The Lord does not want us to worship angels or pray to them or make statues out of them, or even jewelry representing them, or put our trust in them. It’s the devil’s trip off, and worshiping of idols and anamint objects “And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship `before the feet of the angel which showed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.”(Revelations 22:8,9). Apparently some saved people are granted a special angel status after they die and go to Heaven, and are given special assignments and missions from the Lord.“And no marvel for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light, Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”(II Corinthians 11:14,15).“Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?”(II Corinthians 6:3).We will even judge Angels. I am sure that this verse is talking about the fallen angels who follow satan, but could this also be talking about the ones that don’t too? We will see.“For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;” (II Peter 2:4).”And I beheld, and heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands.”(Revelation 5:11). “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?” (Matthew 26:53). God has made many Angels. How many? Probably Billions or more, even whole armies of Angels. He even has a chain of command like Micheal and Gabriel who are called ARC ANGELS, they are like commanding Generals over Armies of Angels. Gabriel was sent by the Lord to announce the Birth of John the Baptist, and Jesus Christ, and he was even sent to Daniel the Prophet to give him the powerful revelation of Daniel Chapter 9. The Bible says Gabriel stands in the presence of God. “And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.” (Luke 1:19). How big do Angels get? As big as God wants them to be. How many Angels can fit on the head of a pin? As many as God wants. WOW think about that!

Please say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Savior. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.

ANGELS ( Part 3)

 This message may be too shocking for some. If you think you are even a borderline old  bottle, then I suggest that you skip this lesson and go on to something else. This is a controversial subject. Therefore I am just going to give you the Scriptures and let the chips fall where they may. You can take it or leave it, but here it is.“And it came to pass, when men began to multiple on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men , and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which where of old, men of renown.”(Genesis 6:1,2,4).Angels are called Son’s of God. “AGAIN THERE was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves and Satan came also among them to present himself to the Lord.” (Job 2:1).Angels or sons of God were created by God for his purposes. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16). I guess this answers the question. Do Angels have babies? And is there intimacy in heaven? Even though Jesus said there is no marriage in heaven.” Jesus answered and said unto them, “YE do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage , but are as the angels of God in heaven.” (Matthew 22:29,30) I can’t imagine Heaven without a bunch of little children running around and playing. If a child dies he grows up to the age of maturity in Heaven and stays that way forever.They do things a lot different up there than we do down here. How are they going to explain this one? Wow, what a mind blowing revelation of truth is this one! “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation , in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds: I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;”(Isaiah 14:12-16).“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.”(Luke 10:18).

ANGELS (part 2)

“So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cher’-u-bims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.” (Genesis 3:24). Cher’-u-bims are powerful, strong,and beautiful angels of God, with huge wings. They are an elite group of Special Forces in God’s army of Angels. “And in the most holy house he made two cher’-u-bims of image work, and overlaid them with gold. And the wings of the cher’-u-bims were twenty cubits long : one wing of the cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub. And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub. The wings of the cher’-u-bims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet and their faces were inward.”(II Chronicles 3:10-13). Cher’-u-bims represent God’s power and glory. Satan or Lucifer was once a Cher’-u-bim, before he fell, because of his pride. “Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God;every precious stone was thy covering,the sardius, topaz, and the diamond,the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper,the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.” (Ezekiel 28:12-19). “And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the Lord went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold they were all dead corpses.” (II Kings 19:35). Sometimes angels are used by the Lord to bring forth judgment. “Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly.”(Job 4:18). Angels can make mistakes. “The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.”(Psalm 34:7). Angels are guardians of those that fear the Lord. “Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them.” (Psalm 35:5). I would rather have a pack of hounds chasing me than the hound of Heaven. “Man did eat angels’ food: he sent them meat to the full.” (Psalm 78: 25). Angels even have special food that they eat. “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” (Psalm 91:11). Angels do a lot of things behind the scenes that we don’t even realize or know about to protect us from harm and attacks, from demons, and our own mistakes and sins.“Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.” (Daniel 9:21).This verse shows us that angels can fly. Angels can travel from one dimension to another, from the spirit world to our dimension that we live in. Gabriel is one of God’s main Arc angels or Generals. God has a chain of command in his angel armies. “And at that time shall Mi’-cha-el stand up,the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” (Daniel 12:1).Michael is one of the Lord’s Arc Angels.

ANGELS (part 1)

Let me begin with a personal experience that I had. It was 1980 and Ellen, whom I was married to at the time, and myself, and our baby son James, were on our way back to Houston from a trip to New Mexico. It was in January around midnight. It was very cold and snowy and sleeting. She was driving and I was in the passenger seat of our small Chevy. I was asleep with James sleeping on my chest. All of a sudden Ellen started screaming, Ice! ice! We were on the Guadalupe bridge which was covered in ice and we were spinning around in circles, finally after hitting the side of the bridge the car came to a stop, but this traumatic experience was just beginning. I looked out of my window and saw an eighteen wheel semi truck blaring his horn and slamming on his brakes, and jack knifing and siding towards us. Ellen was frozen at the wheel and couldn’t move for freight. I yelled at her to get out. She said just take James and go which I did. I didn’t want to leave her there but had to make a decision and quick. When I got out of the vehicle with James who was just a baby in my arms there was a man standing on the bridge. He told me to run and said he would get Ellen out, So I ran down the bridge. I was going to jump over the bridge with James in my arms to avoid the crashing I heard behind me, but as I looked over the bridge all I could see below was a raging river, which would have surely drowned us. So I kept on trying to run on the ice with James in my arms. Finally the noise of the crash stopped. I came back to the crash site and Ellen was standing nearby. I looked for the man I had seen, but he was nowhere in sight. He had on a brown skimpy over all type of garment. Shortly when the Highway patrol came, I asked him who that person was, because I wanted to thank him. The officer said there was nobody around the crash site. He even said, it must have been an angel. He was just standing on a frozen, icy bridge in the dead of winter at midnight in the sleeting snow, and could later not be found. I know it was an angel from the Lord sent to save us. Praise the Lord Jesus!

MATTHEW CHAPTER 5 “THE BLESSED”

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22 but I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. 25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:28 but I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: 32 but I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: 34 but I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne: 35 nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. 36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:39 but I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also. 41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. 42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;45 that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

WHAT LANGUAGE DOES GOD AND JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT SPEAK IN HEAVEN ?

Probably any language that they want to speak in since they are God and they created all of the original languages. After the flood when the Human race was trying on their own works to reach God and Heaven by building their tower of Babel, which means confusion, then did God create all the other languages.” And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.” (Genesis 11:1-9 ).God then made all people to start speaking in different languages and they went off with their own groups who spoke the same languages to different areas of the world where God directed them to settle. And they left off to finish building the tower of Babel when God confused their tongues.  God is Omniscient which means all knowing. They ( God, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit ) can understand all the languages in the world and even read the minds of everyone in the world, and the people in Heaven and in Hell at the same time. Wow! That is pretty powerful! We have an Awesome God ! So what language will we all speak when Jesus comes back? The Bible says,“Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.“ (Zephaniah 3: 8,9 ). I think the “pure language” will possibly be Hebrew.  Since Hebrew, is the language which the Old Testament was first written in, and God gave the Ten Commandments in So you might want to start learning some Hebrew to get a jump on things. However in the book of Acts when the Holy Spirit came upon the Disciples and they started speaking in different languages to witness to all the people in Jerusalem who had come from all different parts of the world, those languages were supernaturally given to the Disciples without ever studying them or learning them, so that will happen again when we get to heaven, we will get our new bodies, and a new name, and a new language. Shalom ma likeum, Ma likeum shalom. Which means, peace be unto you. Unto you be peace.

THE JOURNEY AND HOW FAR DOES GOD’S LOVE GO ?

THE JOURNEY

The journey of my life has brought me here,

to this desolate place where I tremble with fear,

my own actions alone have brought me disgrace,

I turn to God and in shame hide my face.

I know that he’s forgiven and in return I should forget,

but the sins of my past I continue to regret,

I know as time passes the hurt will pass too.

With Gods grace and mercy I’ll have strenght to pull through !

                                            HOW FAR DOES GOD’S LOVE GO ?

How great is Gods love and mercy? It is greater than the tallest mountain, and deeper than the deepest ocean it goes farther than the farthest star.There is no end to God’s love, and mercy. “As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”(Psalm 103:12). Mans love and mercy only goes so far, but the Lord’s love and mercy has no boundaries. The speed of light is said to be 186,000 miles per second x 60 seconds in a minute is 11,160,000 miles x 60 minutes in an hour is 669,600,000 miles x 24 hours in a day is 16,070,400,000 miles X 365 days in a year is 5,865,696,000,000 miles X 6,176 years since creation to 2016 AD (See: The Age Of The Earth Chart) is 3.62265385E+16 miles.That is how far the farthest star is that we can see.This is not even counting how far away the stars are that we can’t see yet, but as time moves on, more stars will appear. This is how far Gods love goes it is never ending, because the East and the West never meet. We can only figure out close to how far the farthest star that we can see is, which is constantly changing and expanding. Then there is another dimension past this one that never ends. But most important is he sent His Only Begotten Son to die for us to show His ultimate love for us.

GODS SPECIAL NUMBER SEVEN (Texts Only)

The Book of Revelation contains a number of Sevens. There are Seven Letters to the Seven Churches found in Chapters 1-3. There are seven Seals and Seven Trumpets found in Chapters 4-11. There are Seven Vials found in Chapters 15 & 16.There are Seven Candle Sticks found in Revelation Chapter 1: 12 &20. There are Seven Stars in Revelation Chapter 1:16 & 20. There are Seven Angels in Revelation 1:20. There are Seven Spirits in Chapter 1:4. There is a Lamb with Seven Horns, and Seven Eyes in Chapter 5:6. There are Seven Lamps in Chapter 4:5. There are Seven Thunders in Chapter 10:3 &4. There is a Red Dragon with Seven Heads and Seven Crowns in Chapter 12:1. There is a Leopard like beast with Seven Heads in Chapter 13:1. There is a Scarlet Colored Beast with Seven heads in Chapter 17:3. There are Seven Mountains in Chapter 17:9. There are Seven Kings in Chapter 17:10. There are Seven blessed in the Book of Revelation. Blessed is he who reads this prophecy, Chapter 1:3. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord Chapter 14:3. Blessed is he that watches ( for the coming of Jesus) Chapter 16:15. Blessed are those bidden to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb Chapter 19:9. Blessed is he that hath part in the first resurrection, Chapter 20:6. Blessed is he that keeps the Words of this Book, Chapter 22:7. Blessed are they that do his commandments, in Chapter 22:14.

The number Seven is found many times throughout the Bible. The Sabbath was the Seventh Day. The Levitical system of the Old Testament was built on a cycle of Sevens. The Sabatic year was every Seventh Year. Jericho fell after Seven Priests, with Seven Trumpets, for Seven Days, marched around it’s walls and blew their Trumpets Seven times on the Seventh Day. Naaman dipped in the Jordan River Seven times, the Bible begins with Seven Days of Creation and ends with the Book of Sevens about the ultimate destiny of Creation. Seven is a favorite number of God in his Word. There are Seven Days in a Week. Seven notes in Music. Seven Colors in the Rainbow. In Daniel Chapter 9 there are 70 weeks of Seven Year time periods, or 7X70= 490 years. The Last Seven Years will start when the anti- christ confirms the Covenant.( See the class on Daniel Chapter 9). Since God uses the number Seven so often it must have some special significance. The number Seven stands for Completeness, Fullness, and Totality. One of the most important of all the Seven’s in the Bible is when Jesus said to forgive others Seven times Seventy. ( Matthew 18:21,22)

MATTHEW CHAPTER 24

Verse 1, 2) “And Jesus went out and departed from the Temple: and his disciples came unto him for to show him the buildings of the Temple. And Jesus said unto them. See ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you. There shall not be left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down.” Jesus had just finished blasting the scribes and Pharisees and Sadducees in Matthew chapter 23, telling them that they were hypocrites and blind guides, and serpents, and vipers. Then he left the Temple and his disciples came to him wanting to show him some beautiful buildings that were built as part of the Temple. Jesus told them that there wouldn’t be one stone of the Temple that would not be thrown down. This prophecy from Jesus was fulfilled in 70 A.D. when Titus the Roman General marched on Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple, and when the Temple burned, the gold in the Temple melted through the cracks of the bricks, and Titus ordered his soldiers to take each stone and scrape the gold off. This fulfilled what Jesus predicted. The earthen retaining wall still remains today. It is called the Wailing Wall were Jews go to pray, but was not part of the Temple itself.

Verse 3 -5) “And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately. saying tell us. when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming. and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them. Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name. saying, I am Christ and shall deceive many.” Jesus warns us many times not to be deceived. There are so many false religions. And cults, and isms, and false prophets, and false churches, out there trying to deceive people. That is why you really need to know the word so you won’t be carried away by some false doctrine. “If they speak not according to this word. it is because there is no light in them.” (Isaiah 8:20b). “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you. let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8).

Verse 6-8) “And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass. but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines. and pestilences, and earthquakes in diverse places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” The Bible tells us; “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse. deceiving, and being deceived.” (2 Timothy 3:13). Things are not going to get better as evolution teaches, but worse and worse as evil men are inventing more and more ways to destroy themselves and the world. Jesus doesn’t want you to be worried as things get worse, because that means the return of Jesus is getting closer and closer. Jesus warned us of all these plagues and pestilences that are coming upon the world seemingly out of nowhere even now, such as HIV, SARS, H1N1, Enterovirus, Ebola, zika virus and many other pestilences which are coming upon the world, which is another sign of the end times, along with all the devastating earth quakes we are having around the world like never before. Many of these plagues and pestilences are said to be created by evil men themselves.

Verse 9-12) “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted. and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for my namesake. And then shall many be offended. and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise. and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound. the love of many shall wax cold.” Persecution of believers has been around every since Jesus was upon the earth during his public ministry, but it will be getting worse as the anti-christ and his forces try to destroy God’s people and the truth that they teach. These verses are becoming more and more true and fulfilled as the Time of The End draws closer.

Verse 13) “But he that shall endure unto the end the same shall be saved.” Some false doctrine teachers try to use this verse to say you can lose your salvation, if you don’t endure unto the end. The fact is, you have to rightly divide the word of truth. (II Timothy 2:15 ). You can’t just take one or two verses and make a whole doctrine out of it. You have to take the whole Bible and all the Scriptures on a particular subject to understand the full meaning of it. Yes those that endure unto the end will be saved and rescued when the Lord appears and takes us up at the rapture, but so will also those that don’t endure because they were killed, or they backslid, and denied the Lord. There are also other things to be saved from besides Hell, like being saved from being raised to everlasting shame and contempt, because of denying the Lord, or not serving him. Everyone who has been saved will be taken up when the Lord appears.

Verse 14) “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” This sign is certainly being fulfilled now by satellite, T.V., Radio, word-of-mouth, print, and Internet so that the world will have the message and be without excuse, because there are still many who have not heard the Gospel even once. Why should anyone hear the gospel twice when some have never even heard it once?

Verse 15) “When ye therefore shall see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, spoken of by Daniel the prophet. stand in the holy place, ( whoso readeth, let him understand).” The word “when” is a keyword to remember as we go forth into our study of Matthew Chapter 24. Mark Chapter 13, and Luke Chapter 21 are also accounts of this teaching from Jesus. The ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION is more clearly brought out in our teachings on the book of Daniel, and Revelation. Jesus said,”for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.” (Luke 16:15b). So this particular abomination is the worst ever of all abominations and it makes all the other abominations desolate in comparison. Also the anti-Christ and the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION will outlaw and seek to destroy all other religions. It will stand in the Temple. Many believe that the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION may be some type of a computerized robot image of the anti christ that will speak and cause all who do not worship this image to be killed.( Revelations 13:15).

Verse 16-20) “Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the house top not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child. and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your fight be not in the winter. neither on the sabbath day.” The word “then” is another keyword that goes along with ”when” in verse 15. In other words when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION standing in the Temple, which will probably be a widely publicized event. Then it is time to flee, especially at this time in Jerusalem. The Jews strictly enforce the Old Testament laws of the Sabbath day, and no travel will be allowed. Also it will be hard for those who are pregnant or have babies at this time.

Verse 21) “For then shall be great tribulation such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time. no,nor ever shall be.” The word “then” in this verse is another keyword that goes along with “when” in verse 15, and the word “then” in verse 16. In other words when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION standing in the Temple, then it is time to flee, and then the great tribulation begins, the last 3 and 1/2 years or 42 months, or 1,260 days. (Remember the Hebrew calendar has twelve 30 day months).

Verse 22) “And except those days should be shortened. there should no flesh be saved: but for the elects sake those days shall be shortened.” The Great Tribulation will begin a time of trouble that the world has never seen, followed by an even worse time of trouble, the seven vials of the wrath of God. The elect are the saved. This time of trouble will be shortened for their sakes to 3 and 1/2 years because they are going to be rescued at the rapture immediately after the 3 and 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation before the seven vials of the wrath of God begins.

Verse 23-28) “Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightnings cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together.” If anybody told me that Jesus had come back, and was in a secret place in the desert. I would tell them that was not true, because if Jesus had come back I wouldn’t be here. I would be in heaven at the marriage supper of the Lamb in my new body and having a great time at the biggest party and family reunion in history! Jesus warns us again to not be deceived by false prophets and false Christ’s even though the false prophet will do signs and wonders, even pulling fire out of the sky.  “And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.” (Revelation 13:13,14). When Jesus appears and takes us to heaven it will be fast like a twinkling of an eye, like the lightnings, like the Eagles (the saved) attacking a carcass,( Jesus). Have you ever seen how fast eagles can swoop down and pick up a rabbit and be gone with it? “In a moment in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (I Corinthians 15:52).

Verse 29,30) “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken; And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” Does it say immediately before the tribulation? NO! IT SAYS IMMEDIATELY AFTER !!! You can’t get any clearer than that! Then why do most churches today teach the dangerous false doctrine of Pre-Tribulation Rapture? The Lord has spent so much time in the Scriptures trying to show us the truth yet people don’t get it because they don’t search the Scriptures for themselves because they say this is what we pay the preacher for, and he doesn’t get it himself, because he is taking the word of someone else that taught him. “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” (Acts 17:11). Are you more noble? Do you search the Scriptures daily to see if these things are so? So Jesus said; Immediately after the Tribulation, which lasts for 3 and 1/2 years, 42 months, 1,260 days, which begins the day when the abomination of desolation will be placed in the Temple. Then he will appear in the clouds of heaven immediately after The Great Tribulation which begins when we see the abomination of Desolation. Remember the Great TRIBULATION lasts 42 months, or 1,260 days and then the resurrect dead bodies of all the saved and those that are alive at this time will be taken up in the Rapture, and our bodies will be changed, and Jesus will take us all who have been saved to heaven, and all the people still alive on earth will mourn when they see Jesus appear and all the saved people disappear because they missed the rapture, and the wrath of God is coming upon them. The word “then” is another keyword. Immediately after the Tribulation in verse 29 “then” shall appear the sign of the Son of Man with Jesus coming in the clouds of heaven. So Jesus appears and takes the saved to heaven at this time.

Verse 31) “And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet. and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” This is talking about the seventh trumpet in Revelation Chapter 10:7, which is the Rapture, which means “The Gathering Together”. “ but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

Verse 32) “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh; So likewise ye when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.” The fig tree is talking about Israel. Even today the fig tree is a symbol of Israel. Israel became a nation again for the second time on May 14, 1948. Israel was for the most part a barren desert land, but since Israel became a nation again it has become a very fruitful country in fact it is one of the top exporters of fruit in all the world. “He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud and fill the face of the world with fruit.” (Isaiah 27:6). “The fig tree”, Israel, is definitely being built up and putting forth leaves. So the harvest, or rapture is near. “When the Lord shall build up Zion. (Israel) he shall appear in his glory.” (Psalm 102:16) These are the very words that Jesus spoke in Matthew 24 verse 30, “appear” and “glory.” “I will open rivers in high places and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the Cedar, the shit-tah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together: That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath done this,and the Holy One of Israel hath created it. Produce your cause. saith the Lord: bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob. Let them bring forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.” (Isaiah 41:18-22). Another amazing prophecy about Israel being built up as a sign of the soon coming of the Lord is found in (Isaiah 11:11-14).“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Path’ -ros, and from Cush, and from E’-Iam, and from Shi’-nar, and from Ha’-math, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcast of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. The envy also of E’-phra-im shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah. shall be cut off: E’-phra-im shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex E’-phra-im. But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Phi-lis’-tines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon E’-dom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.” The second time God brought back the Jews to Israel was in 1948. This is when Israel became a nation again after they were scattered throughout the world, after Rome destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 A. D. Hitler persecuted and killed so many Jews which drove them out of Europe and all over the world to come to Israel. The first time the Jews were scattered by Babylon in 586 B.C. Until Artaxerxes king of Persia gave the commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem in 457 B.C. And the Jews came back to rebuild the street and wall of Jerusalem.( see our Daniel 9 Class). Also today there are no more south and north tribes called E’-phra-im and Judah, but Israel is one nation today. In verse 14 it says, “But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Phi-lis’tines toward the west.” This amazing prophecy was fulfilled in 1967 during the 6 day war when the Israeli jets flew over the Gaza Strip ( the Philistines toward the West), and attacked the Egyptian Air Force and destroyed it, and destroyed their tanks and trucks and armies in the Sinai desert as they were on their way to attack Israel. God spoke through Isaiah around 750 BC about jet airplanes! The fig tree, Israel, is definitely being built up. This is an important sign of the end and the coming of Jesus Christ.

Verse 33) “So likewise ye,when you shall see all these things know that it is near even at the doors.” Jesus is coming soon! It is time to get ready. When someone we really like is coming over to visit us we get all excited, and get our house cleaned up to greet them, and then they arrive at our door step and we hurry to open the door and receive them. How much more should we be like this for the Lord? We know he is on his way. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20)

Verse 34) “Verily I say unto you. This generation shall not pass until all these things be fulfilled.” This generation has seen most of these things come to pass, wars, earthquakes, famines, pestilences, the Gospel being preached worldwide, but there is still a lot to go. The next major sign we’re looking for is the confirming of the covenant. Which starts the last seven years, and the Abomination of Desolation being placed in the soon to be rebuilt Jewish Temple at Jerusalem, which starts the last 3 1/2 years or 42 months or 1,260 days. Remember these time periods are based on the Hebrew calendar of twelve 30 day months in a year. So the generation that sees all these events happen will not pass away until Jesus comes back.

Verse 35 and 36) “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” God is going to make a new heaven, and a new earth, and the old heaven and earth will pass away, but Jesus’s Word will never pass away! Only God knew when Jesus was coming back, when Jesus spoke these words to his disciples. “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:9-11).

Verse 37-39) “But as the days of No’-e were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that No’-e entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Things got pretty bad in Noah’s day, so bad, that God wanted to destroy men off of the face of the earth, which he did in the flood, but spared Noah and his family to carry on the human race. So Jesus said people would be carrying on just like in the days of Noah and knew not what is getting ready to happen to them.

Verse 40-42) “Then shalt two be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill, the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” When the rapture happens all the saved people will instantly disappear and be taken to Heaven. Can you imagine the shock and chaos this will cause? What if the Pilot and Co-pilot were raptured during their flight?

Verse 43-51) “But know this, that if the good man of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meet in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And show began to smite his fellow-servants. and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he look if not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Some people who are raptured will be in shame when they see Jesus. Don’t let it happen to you. Would you like to hear the Lord say to you: “Well done thou good and faithful servant” enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” ? Then just be a good and faithful servant until the Lord takes you.“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” (Daniel 12:2,3) “Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”  (Matthew 6:19-21).

Say this prayer to be saved: Jesus, I want to know you, and to live forever in Heaven, I know I have made mistakes and done bad things- and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I know I don’t deserve it, but I accept your love and I accept you as my Saviour. Please come into my heart and life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me peace. Amen.
