Verse 1) AND I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beast saying, Come and see. The Lamb is Jesus Christ. He was the only one who was worthy to open the seals.“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29)

Verse 2) And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.  Zechariah 6: 1-5 states; “AND I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses. Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, what are these, my lord? And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go fourth from standing before the Lord of all the earth”. These verses show us that the horses and their riders represent spiritual forces. Each one of the four beast before the Throne announces each spiritual force as they appear and ride fourth. Jesus Christ is shown to be riding a white horse in (Revelations 19: 11-13). “And I saw heaven open, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.” Jesus is the Word, and no man knows it totally but he himself. John 1:14 states; “And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us , ( and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” In the light of these verses, Revelation 6:2, appears to be talking about Jesus, with the crown given to him, “and he went forth conquering and to conquer.” This represents Jesus taking over of the world soon with his armies from heaven.

Verse 3,4) And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. The red horse and it’s rider is obviously  the spirit of war and the great sword is all of mans great inventions to destroy one another, and of course the greatest sword would be nuclear bombs.

Verse 5,6) And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo, a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beast say, A measure of wheat for a penny; and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. A penny represented a days wages back in Jesus’s day. This spiritual force riding the black horse seems to be the demonic powers controlling the economies of the world, or the money manipulators ( “a pair of balances in his hand”) and the spirit of greed. “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”( I Timothy 6:10).

Verse 7,8) And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beast of the earth. In Daniel Chapter 7 the Empires of man are depicted as beasts. This pale horse and rider would seem to be the evil demonic forces working behind the scenes that control famine and pestilences. “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” ( Matthew 24:7). There are four main spiritual forces shown in these verses as horses and riders, one good, and three bad. These are called the four horse men of the Apocalypse. Which horse are you riding on?

Verse 9-11) And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. Persecution against God’s people has been going on ever since Cain killed his brother Able, and it will get worse and worse, especially during the reign of the anit-christ. “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” (II Timothy 3:12). “Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”  (Matthew 5: 12).

Verse 12-17) And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman,and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and the rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? In the scriptures sometimes angels are referred to as stars, the devil will go to war along with his angels and fight against God’s Angels before and during the Great Tribulation. The devil will persuade one third of the angels to come on his side, and they are cast down on to the earth with the devil, who enters the anit-christ’s body. Also there will be asteroids, or comets, and or meteors hitting the earth causing great destruction. (Revelation Chapters 11&12). These verses (Revelation 6: 12-17) jump us into the future, past the rapture to the wrath of God, When all the worst of these terrible things happen. (Revelation Chapter’s 15-19). “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.” (Joel 2:30,31). Nuclear bombs make a huge pillar of smoke , and can even make the moon look red.

Verse 1-3) AND AFTER these things I saw four angels standing on the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea. Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. It seems that the four winds in the scriptures are talking about the spiritual forces, such as angels and battles between demonic forces and God’s forces that ultimately behind the scenes control events which take place upon the earth.   “Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.”  (Daniel 7:2) (The great sea in this verse is talking about the multitudes of people). (Psalm 18:4) says,  “The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.”  These four Angels hold back the terrible events that are about to happen on the earth during the Great Tribulation begining when the abomination of Desolation is placed in the third rebuilt Jewish Temple then begins the last 3 and 1/2 years, or 42 months, or 1,260 days until the Rapture. Another angel comes with a seal from God and tells the four angels to not hurt the earth or the sea until he has sealed the servants of God in their foreheads. This could be talking about a special mark. All you people who want tattoos should desire this mark from God. “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.“ (1Corinthians 1:18). Do you think the mark might be a Cross? It could be ! At this time the Devil is going to be putting his counterfeit  seal in his peoples foreheads, called the Mark of The Beast, DON”T TAKE IT !!! ( SEE: our class on Revelation 13). 

Verse 4-14) And I heard the number of them which were sealed; and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. Of the tribes of Judah were sealed twelve thousand, Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. And I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God. Saying. Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might , be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. And one of the elders answered saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. The angel seals 144,000 saved Jews to protect them during the great tribulation or last three and a half years. The “other number that no man could number”, represents all the saved peoples in the world that came out of the great tribulation. We don’t know for sure if everyone gets the seal who is saved. We will have to wait to find out. It could be that the seal has to do with a special protection that the Christian Jews will need, because they are so close to where the anti-christ will be ruling in Israel from the Temple. Or it could be all Spiritual, meaning that the 144,000 that are sealed are the most dedicated Christians who have been serving the Lord all over the world. Since the Bible teaches us that the saved are the real Jews, in God’s eyes. “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: but he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.” (Romans 2:28,29).“ For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Galatians 3:26-29). “God is no respecter of persons.” (Acts 10:34b). This means that the Lord doesn’t favor a saved Jew over a saved person of another nationality, or Gentile, but he does favor those that love him, and serve him. “I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.” (Proverbs 8:17).

Verse 15-17) Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all their tears from their eyes. This is a glorious picture of our eternal future with God, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and the Saved, in Heaven. (see our class on Revelation Chapter 22)

Verse 1) AND WHEN he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half and hour. When Jesus opens the Seventh Seal, it is a very serious time. It is a time when everybody is quiet in heaven, and in prayer about the terrible things which are about to happen.This is the last and final Seal. When Jesus Christ opens it, this brings on the Six trumpets of Great Tribulation upon the earth, and the Seventh Trumpet is the Rapture or the Gathering of the saved to Heaven with Jesus.

Verse 2) And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. The Great Tribulation is about to begin at this time when the anti-christ places the Abomination of Desolation in the Temple. “When ye therefore shall see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, ( whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judae’-a flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the house top not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no nor ever shall be.” (Matthew 24:15-21). God’s judgments are about to fall and they steadily get worse as each Trumpet blows until the Rapture, and then it really gets bad on the earth as the Seven Vials of God’s Wrath are poured out. Remember that the Trumpets and the Vials are two different events separated by the Rapture.

Verse 3-6) And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. In this verse, “The Great Tribulation”, begins when you see the Abomination of Desolation stand in the third rebuilt Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, then the last three and one half years, or 42 months, or 1,260 days in the Hebrew calendar of 12 thirty day months follows. Then “The Rapture” occurs immediately after “The Great Tribulation”. Read Matthew 24:29-31.

Verse 7) The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. This sounds like nuclear war with hail and fire mingled with blood cast upon the earth ( fall out ?)

Verse 8-11) And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. The second and third angels trumpets signaled the fall of a giant asteroid, and or meteors upon the earth. Wormwood means poison. The Tribulation Trumpets bring forth destruction in thirds, and the Seven Vials of God’s Wrath bring total destruction.

Verse 12,13) And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! The fourth trumpet brings forth terrible atmospheric upheavels, or this could be the results of nuclear bombs being exploded, and the sun and the moon’s light being blocked out by fallout and pollution, and even possible volcanic eruptions. The angel says there are three more Woe’s or Trumpets yet to come.

Verse 1) AND THE fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.  This verse shows how angels are sometimes referred to as stars in the scriptures. This angel is given an assignment, to open the bottomless pit.

Verse 2) And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. The bottomless pit is a place where Satan is bound and chained and cast into this pit for one thousand years during the Millennium. “AND I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.”( Revelation 20:1-3) This angel mentioned here in Revelation 20:1-3, sounds like the same angel in Revelation 9:1 because he has the key of the bottomless pit, so therefore it would seem that he was an angel from God sent on this assignment. The bottomless pit is opened after the fifth angel sounds his trumpet. This happens when the Sanctuary is cleansed 75 days after The Rapture. See our class on Daniel Chapter 8. The bottomless pit is again mentioned after the seven vials of the Wrath of God when Satan is cast into it. Many people think that the bottomless pit is a great volcano. If you have ever stood on the brim of a volcano you can see how this could possibly be. It would be bottomless to the Devil because he would be continually falling up and down due to the effect of the rotation of the earth. After a great volcanic eruption and explosion, the sun and the air would be surely darkened. “A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains:”(Joel 2:2a). “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.”(Joel 2:31).

Verse 3-5) And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.  Out of the smoke which came from the bottomless pit locust looking creatures come forth to torment all the people that don’t have the seal of God in their foreheads. This makes me tend to think that all of the people who are saved will get the seal of God in their foreheads, because why would only 144,000 saved Jews be protected and not the rest of the saved Christians? Remember everyone who receives Jesus becomes a real Jew in God’s eyes.“And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”(Galatians 3:29). Most Bible Prophecy is centered around Israel and the Jews. Maybe this is why so much focus is put on the 144,000 saved sealed Jews in Israel. After all this is where the major events will take place, such as the anti-christ’s government, the Abomination of Desolation being placed in the soon to be built third Temple at Jerusalem, the two main witness’s prophesy, and the return of Jesus and his rule from Jerusalem, after the Battle of Armageddon. This little strip of land over in the Mid- East known as Israel, which gets a lot of the attention from the news, is the center of Bible Prophecy and the future of the world. These  locust demonic creatures are either spiritual or physical, or both. They are only given power to torment for five months.

Verse 6) And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. It is going to get so bad that people would rather die and commit suicide than live, but God will not let them.

Verse 7-10) And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of loins. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. This description of the locusts could be John trying to describe some type of a helicopter or other weapon of war, or some type of terrible demonic looking beings that come out of the bottomless pit. John is describing what he saw in the vision. Just as Nahum the Prophet described his end time vision of cars.“The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken.The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.” (Nahum 2: 3,4)

Verse 11) And they had a king over them which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. Abaddon and Apollyon means destruction or destroyer. This seems to be talking about the devil or one of his main angels.”Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1Peter 5:8).:

Verse 12) One woe is past; and, behold there come two woes more hereafter. There are two more trumpets of the Great Tribulation yet to sound.

Verse 13-16) And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. When the sixth trumpet sounds four angels are loosed from their bonds in the Euphrates river where they were held captive for an hour, a day ,a month, an a year. They were either bound that long ,or this means that they were bound for a special time to be released, and they go forth to gather together the anti-christ’s great armies of 200 hundred million soldiers.This sounds like a combination of armies of different nations. These angels sound like bad angels of the devil or why else would they be bound for this special purpose? “And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.” (Isaiah 4:1). Apparently there will be a shortage of men, because most have been killed off, or taken away to fight in the anti-christ’s wars.“for they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.”  (Matthew 26:52b).

Verse 17-19) And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of loins; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. Just by what came out of their mouths ( fire, smoke and brimstone) killed the third part of the men in this battle. This could be talking about army tanks.Remember John had never seen modern weapons of warfare. He was only familiar with horses, chariots, wagons, etc, the weapons of war of his day. This battle is talking about the battle of Armageddon or a major battle preceding it.

Verse 20,21) And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. It is hard to understand that after these six terrible trumpets of tribulation that man will still not repent and turn to Jesus Christ. The Seven Vials of The Wrath of God are soon to be poured out upon the earth after the Rapture.” He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life ; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36).  Remember that Jesus said, that The Great Tribulation,( which includes the Trumpets of Tribulation), would not begin until you see The Abomination of Desolation placed in the Temple in Jerusalem.“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)” “for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” (Matthew 24: 15,21).

Verse 4) And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. We don’t know what the seven thunders said, because a voice from heaven told John not to write what they said. Perhaps this is symbolic of why God’s word is written like a mystery or like a puzzle that we must seek and search out and put it together to see the full beautiful picture. God wants to see who is hungry and thirsty for his spiritual truths. Like Jesus said “blessed are they that hunger and thirst , for they shall be filled.”(Matthew 5:6).Do you hunger and thirst after God’s truth in his Word? Are you desperately trying to put the pieces of God’s puzzle of Daniel and Revelation,  together?

Verse 5,6) And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things which are therein, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: The angel is talking about time which shall be no more for all the saved, because they will be living in the spirit world with God where time does not exist. There is only an eternal now in God’s Spirit world.

Verse 7) But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. This verse is talking about the seventh trumpet. We have already covered six trumpets of tribulation. The seventh trumpet is the Rapture, or the gathering together when Jesus takes all the saved to Heaven. The mystery of God is found in (I Corinthians 15:51,52) which says “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” The seventh trumpet is also found mentioned in (I Thessalonians 4:16,17)“ For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the arcangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

Verse 8-11) And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. There are other verses where God told his Prophets to eat the Word. “MOREOVER HE said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel. So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.” ( Ezekiel 3: 1-3). “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.” (Jeremiah 15:16). Eating the Word is like really studying it and understanding it. It’s like honey it’s nourishing to us, but it can cause our belly to be bitter. This happens because of persecution when we preach the truth, as “all who will live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” ( II Timothy 3:12). We are accountable to tell others the truth that God has revealed to us.

 “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.  Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.  As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?  When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” These verses are found in John Chapter 6.

Verse 1,2) AND THERE was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. These verses point out a difference between the temple of God, and the altar, and the court which is without the temple. Just as there is a difference in God’s eye’s between the saved and the unsaved who reject his Son. The Gentiles (unsaved anti-christ forces) tread under foot (persecute) the Holy City Jerusalem (the saved) for forty two months, 1,260 days, or the last 3 ½ years, the Great Tribulation period, or last half of the 70th week of Daniel Chapter 9, or the last 3 ½ years of the last seven years.

Verse 3-6) And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. God will have two mighty prophets during the last 3 ½ years in Jerusalem which will destroy with fire the anti-christ forces who try to kill them. They will have power to smite the earth with plagues and power over the waters to turn them to blood, as Moses did in Egypt. The two olive trees and two candlesticks are also mentioned in (Zechariah 4:1-4 & 10-14), “AND THE angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me saying, What are these, my lord? For who hath despised the day of small things? For they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth. Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left said thereof? And I answered again, and said unto him, What be theses two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said No, my lord. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

Verse 7-10) And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall over come them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. The beast that ascendeth up out of the bottomless pit is the devil, who possess the anti-christ body and he kills them or has them killed after they finish their witness, right before the Lord comes. He leaves their bodies on display for all the world to see that they are dead. There is no way that all the world could see them back in John’s day. Today we have world wide television, etc. for all the world to see and rejoice and make merry and even send gifts to each other, because they are so happy that these two prophets are dead which brought down the plagues on the earth.

Verses 11-13) And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. After three and a half days God brings the two prophets back to life again, and a great voice calls them to heaven in the sight of their enemies and in the same hour a great earthquake occurs and destroys a tenth of Jerusalem and kills seven thousand men. Some are saved by fear the Bible says.

Verse 14-18) The second woe is past; and, behold the third woe cometh quickly. And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven saying, THE KINGDOMS OF THIS WORLD ARE BECOME THE KINGDOMS OF OUR LORD, AND OF HIS CHRIST; AND HE SHALL REIGN FOR EVER AND EVER. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. The seventh trumpet and third woe is the Rapture, followed by the Wrath of God, then the thousand year reign of Christ, followed by the Great White Throne Judgment.

Verse 19) And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. The Ark of the Covenant is found at last, God took it to Heaven !!!

Verse 1) AND THERE appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: The woman is Jesus’s church, the Bride of Christ. Clothed with the sun is symbolic of Jesus Christ ruling in our hearts. The moon under her feet symbolizes a strong foundation and faithfulness. The crown of twelve stars seems to symbolizes the twelve apostles. “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.” (Revelation 19: 7,8). “His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.” (Psalm 89: 36,37).

Verse 2) And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. This is talking about Mary who is part of the church when she delivered Jesus.

Verse 3-4) And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. The red dragon with seven heads and ten horns is the devil, the seven heads are the seven world empires, and the ten horns are the ten major world governments that join with the anti-christ. ( See our classes on the book of Daniel chapter 7,8,11 & Revelation Chapter 13). The dragon gathering a third part of the stars in Heaven represents the devil gathering a third of the angels to himself after a great war in Heaven against God’s Angels and the devil and the angels that side with him, and they are cast into the earth when the anit-christ is assassinated and the devil possesses his body and he comes back to life and rules for 3 and one half years, or 42 months, or 1,260 days in the Temple, for the Great Tribulation. (Remember this is based on 12 , thirty day months in the Hebrew Calendar). The dragon ( the devil) possessed Herod, who tried to kill Jesus when he was born, which fulfilled, “the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.” Mary the mother of Jesus was surely a main part of the women, The Church of Jesus Christ depicted in this chapter.

Verse 5) And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. This is obviously talking about Mary bringing forth Jesus, and Jesus ruling the world.

Verse 6) And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and three score days. God’s people the church, the saved church especially in Israel, will flee into the wilderness to a special place for 1,260 days or the last 3 ½ years or the Great Tribulation. ( See our class on Matthew Chapter 24).

Verse 7-10) And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angles fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angles, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. This war in heaven between God’s angels and the devil’s angels takes place before the devil is cast out of heaven with his angels ( he takes a third of the angels with him verse 4), and the devil then enters the anti-christ’s body who is healed of a deadly wound, when the devil enters him and he comes back to life. This takes place in the middle of the last seven years when the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION is placed in the Temple. The devil is allowed to come and stand before God and accuse the brethren, but at this time when he is kicked out of heaven, he is not allowed any more to do this. “AND AT that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time:” ( Daniel 12:1a).

Verse 11) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. That is how we overcome the devil and hell, by faith in the blood of Jesus and by showing we have faith by witnessing. “ the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” ( I John1:7b). “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart Man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”( Romans 10: 9,10).

Verse 12-14) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. When the devil is cast unto the earth he is very angry because from reading these and other verses he knows he only has 3 ½ years, or 1,260 days, or 42 months, or time( One Year), times( Two Years), and a half a time ( One half of a year = 3 1/2 years). So he tries to persecute the church and kill as many of us as he can. The two wings of a great eagle may symbolize God’s power and protection and help as the church flees to a special place that God has prepared for the church to flee too. Maybe someone will donate the use of some jet aircraft. These verses may be specifically referring to the 144,000 in Israel at this time.

Verse 15) And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. The water is symbolic of the armies of the anti-christ who chase after the church. “The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.” ( Psalm 18:4). “AND THERE came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: (Revelation 17:1) “And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.” (Revelation 17:15).

Verse 16) And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. There will be earthquakes which will swallow up many of the anti-christ’s army who try to persecute the church.

Verse 17) And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The devil possessed anti- Christ will persecute and try to kill the woman (the church) all the way to the end all over the world.

Verse 1) AND I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns, ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. We have studied how that the sea represents the multitudes of people. “And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples ,and multitudes ,and nations, and tongues.”(Revelation 17:15).The beast is the devil and the seven heads are the seven world Empires of man, and the ten horns are the last ten countries that join forces with the anti-christ, and the ten crowns are the main leaders of the last ten countries. The name of blasphemy represents the ungodliness and evil of each of man’s Empires which are ultimately controlled by the devil, as we studied about in our classes on the Book of Daniel. This is why you really need to understand the Book of Daniel in order to get a good understanding of the Book of Revelation.See our class on Daniel Chapter 2,7, and 8 for a good understanding of verse 1.

Verse 2) And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. In other words the beast had in it the remains of all the former empires. The leopard was Greece, the bear was the Medo/Persians, the lion was Babylon. They all had influences upon what the world has become, and they were all empowered by the dragon that old serpent called the devil and Satan.

Verse 3) And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. The anti-christ will be healed from a deadly wound. How can a wound be deadly, if you don’t die from it? The anti-christ will probably be killed or assassinated and the devil will enter into his body, and he will come back to life, and proclaim himself as God, and many will worship him.

Verse 4) And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him? By worshiping the anti-christ, people will ultimately be worshiping the devil. He will have great armies and arms and wealth under his control. ( Daniel Chapter 11: 31)

Verse 5) And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. The devil will proclaim himself as God and speak blasphemies in the temple for 42 months. The Word of God mentions this time period many times, so it must really be important that we understand. That’s why the devil tries so hard to mess it up with his lie, and false doctrine of pre-tribulation rapture which almost the whole Christian world has swallowed up. The Great Tribulation begins when the anti-christ places the Abomination of Desolation in the Temple. Then there is a period of 42 months, 1,260,days 3 and ½ years, or a time ,times and half a time until the Rapture. Also see our class on Matthew 24, in this web site www.answersintheword.com.

Verse 6) And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. (II Thessalonians 2: 3,4) says, “ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”

Verse 7) And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. He will make war with Christian nations, America, and England, etc? (see Daniel Chapter 11). He will also make war against the saints, and when it looks like he has almost won, Jesus Christ will come, and gather all the saved together to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb.“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52).”For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Verse 8) And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the lamb slain from the foundation of the world.  All the unsaved will worship the anti-christ.

Verse 9) If any man have an ear, let him hear. Know the Word don’t be deceived.

Verse 10) He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and faith of the saints. When all this starts happening count down the days because they are going to get the wrath of God. This will help you get through this time.

Verse 11) And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. The false prophet will act like a lamb, but is full of  evil and bad spirits.

Verse 12) And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He has the power of Satan, and his job is to get the world to worship the anti-christ and in so doing they will be worshiping the devil, whether they realize it or not.

Verse 13) And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. The false prophet will even do miracles to make people believe in the anti-christ.

Verse 14) And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. Possibly some type of ultimate computerize robot, they call it Artificial Intelligence ( AI).  It is the Abomination of Desolation that makes all other abominations desolate.

Verse 15) And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. He will order everyone to be killed that does not worship the image of the beast.

Verse 16) And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: People wont realize that by taking the mark of the beast they will be worshiping the devil.

Verse 17) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Under his reign you won’t be able to buy or sell without the mark in your right hand or in your forehead. However there will be whole nations that fight against him.

Verse 18) Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Here it is, the number of man, “666”. This number will be associated with the mark that the anti-christ will require everyone to have. The devil is rapidly racing the world toward this state now. Notice how the government is getting more and more control over everything?
